As a fan of the super Mario franchise, this common enemy in the game is one of my favorites and I was very excited To learn that they made this character in LEGO form!Putting it together was very fun and upon completion, the set displayed very nicely!I collect a lot of the botanical sets and this piece actually fits well with all of them!There’s a hidden feature in this piece that is fun, but nothing incredibly exciting, I guess the only thing that I wish this did or had is have a turn crank where the mouth can open and closeOverall, I definitely recommend this one!

Very fun to build. Also, this is the first set that I was able to build it using the instructions from the Lego app, rather than the booklet. This helped tremendously. I own more than 100 Lego sets and this is the first time that I am able to build a set using the instructions from the app. So, it's not just the lovely Lego set that is great, but they made sure that this one was properly set up for the app as well. Beautiful set, everyone at my office said great comments about it. If you like Mario, you will love this set. A must have for Mario lovers, even if you are not Lego fan. The single "negative" thing is that I would not pay the full price for it. I bought it when it had a discount.

Quick delivery, came a day earlier than expected. I’m loving these Lego plants/flowers sets! I’ve begun collecting them. I have the orchid, two sunflowers, two roses, three-in-one watering can with flowers, tiny potted plants(nine in set), and the Bonsai tree. All sets were enjoyable to put together. Mario is nostalgic for me, so I had to have it to add to my “garden”. Overall, it’s a fun build. Easy to read instructions, just like the other Lego sets I’ve built. There are six bags for this build, and each has a number correlating to instructions. Kept me busy for a couple of hours, nonstop. The “head” opens wider and doesn’t fully close. Leaves bend and turn. Stem moves back and forth. I’ll warn you-it is top heavy! It stands freely without issues, though, I wouldn’t leave it leaning all the way forward just in case. There is a slit behind the stem for the two coins. And a trap door on the bottom to release them at the push of the button on the back of the “pipe”. Very cute! Looking forward to my next set!

When this product was announced, I knew I had to buy it. I did and I am not disappointed. After assembling the Piranha, I had so much fun playing with the mouth part. You can actually bite down on something with its large mouth. I placed some minifigures in its mouth just for fun.Also it comes with two round LEGO pieces that resembles Mario coins. The pot is actually a piggy bank with a latch at the bottom.Perfect for displaying or playing. It's very sturdy.The only issue I have with it is the ball-joint that connects the head to the stem. Its a little bit loose because of the weight of the head, so it hard to place the Piranha head facing directly upwards. It has a tendency of flopping downwards. Its just a minor issue.The overall built experience was fun. It comes with six bags of LEGO pieces, with the first four bags focused on building the pot and stem. Building the head was quick and easy.
