Make sure you fill just to the guide line and they make a great ice ball for your bourbon or whiskey glass. Let them sit out a couple of minutes and it is much easier to get the ice ball out. Great product.

These are great because you dont have to have a large space for a whole tray that would need to stay flat. I can tuck each of them into the little open spaces I have, and they can be sideways or upside-down no problem. I’ve never had issues with the leaking, and if you want a full sphere just fill them slightly higher than the recommended fill line.

I have bought a few different molds to make round ice balls for whiskey. There are so far the best and easiest to use. They are easy to fill and don't leak. I will probably give some of these as Christmas presents to my buddies this year.

I'm very happy with product. Are the ice balls perfect? No.If you want them to look perfect, you’ll need to do a little scraping.Some of the negative reviews I’ve read about not being able to get the ice ball out of the mold and them cracking and breaking, does happen. Only if you pull the frozen molds straight out of the freezer and try using them without letting them set on your counter or in the sink for a few minutes to acclimate (thaw a little bit).If you don’t let them acclimate, the ice ball will not release from the mold and will crack and sometime break when used in a drink. If you’re in a hurry and don’t have time, just run the molds under a cold stream of tap water and they will release just fine. You may get a few more cracks in your ice ball doing it this way, but it works.

I love the idea of these ice molds. I love the large round ice balls. However, the materials are cheap- the clear plastic top part is very thin. If you drop one of these frozen, it will completely crack. A thicker plastic top half is necessary. Looks like the seller is trying to use the cheapest materials as possible instead of quality. They are also a bit smaller that I expected. I would like a full 2" round ice cube, or even 2 1/2". The black rubber part on the bottom also is a bit thin. And, as others have noted, you can't fill it up to the top to get a full sphere. But, I have no problem getting the ice out of the mold. A few seconds under warm tap water makes it easy to remove. Not sure how long these will last, but we will see. So far, I'm glad I purchased these. I'd love to get them in a slightly bigger size. And I hope that I won't drop them!

These are great! I had purchased almost the same kind a couple of years before, and wanted more. Finally found these. Right size to use to keep my drinks cold. It was funny - when I ordered the other molds - they were missing 1 top. The molds came and I received an extra top - now I have tops for all my molds. Great product - Great price!
