I care about fabric more than the average person. I mean, I have to fight the urge to grab someones sleeve and inquire as to the fabric type. I get excited by the hand of a luxury gaberdine, or a thick linen. Truthfully, I was expecting these to be as quality as they are. I bought them as a gift and was pleasantly surprised at the thickness of the fabric and their functionality. The elastic hugs the rim of our proofing baskets like the warm embrace of a friend. I highly recommend these. Great value and quality.

Medium maybe small bowl but works in a proofing basket or a bowl to proof in! Also it is machine washable. I had to wash it because I made a pesto artisan loaf and it smelled of pesto

The thread count must be single digit. I used these the same way I always used my older liners (put them in the shaper and chill them in the freezer before putting dough in them). The cloth is so porous that the dough oozes out of the liner and after a couple of hours chilling in the fridge, the dough becomes one with the liner.
