This soldering set has everything. I mostly solder model train wires and this soldering set works well. Not sure how this set would work for a professional application but, works great for a hobby application.

It was a great kit for small welding projects and for pcs. Or wiring. Unfortunately, it was missing the helping hands ( nice add on ) & bd boy changed mind. Rtrn & refun

Plenty of reviews that I already agree with. Soldering Iron temperature and temperature control needs a little more power and work. I feel it is more that adequate for beginners. I believe the entire kit is perfect for beginners who are not sure if the want to try electronics for a hobby. For the price I would recommend the kit and if you become a hobbyist or later a professional you can replace the tools as needed and not be concerned, since there isn't a significant investment. The only tool I have reservations with is the magnifier and parts holder stand... It is too small, especially the length of the magnifier holder as well as the magnifier. I took one star away from the overall kit due to the magnifier and stand. It may be good for very close work but I wouldn't see anyone getting any other use out of it than close work. Quality and sturdiness is adequate, so hang on to it it may sill have value.

I was impressed with it until I used it and it did not get hot enough for what I needed. If it had just been a little bit hotter it would have worked.

I Got the red 80w kit and just after couple days the soldering iron stopped working. Already started a return, but it said would take up to 30 days for a refund? I cant wait that long...need one now. What happened to Bolo sending replacements?

More than just an inexpensive iron, this $16 kit contains a meter, solder sucker, line active tool, and other goodies.How good is it?Well, it's not bad. Good Product
This is a great overall product with a good price for its quantity of products for a beginners kit. However it was a bit disappointing having the multimeter casing broken the meter itself worked perfectly normal. The stand also didn’t weigh enough so when you use it, it falls over constantly. I would definitely recommend this for a beginners kit.
