These lights are really helpful and trendy in my room. They are really durable and easy to install. They make my room feel warm. I'm not sure if they are water proof but I would assume they are. Great product.

I was skeptical at first about these lights. Would they be as flexible to work with as the product claims? Would they be bright enough without looking garish? I am happy to share that I needn't have worried. The lights are so flexible, you can free-form just about any design and the light (colors) emitted are vibrant. My daughter used these lights in her dorm room and the finished product is very cool. Depending on the mounted surface, I would advise using the small clear command clips to support the wire. It made set up easy and they adhere well to painted cinder block.

I bought this item a few months ago. I really loved it so decided to buy another one for another part of my house. Sad to say it was not at all the same quality I got before. The light string I originally got was stiffer and would hold up better on the wall. The one I got a few days ago doesn’t fit perfectly in the wall “hooks”, therefore doesn’t stick like the other one. Texture is very wobly, doesn’t make the shapes I got to make with the other one and light isn’t as bright as the originally bought one. In order to keep clients, I recommend being consistent with the product. If you’re lucky enough to catch the Leds I’m talking about, great, because I would never recommend the other ones. Cheaper quality by far, not worth the price.You can definitely see the difference in the picture. First pic is the wobly one, second pic, OG one. Placed it in the same spot even so the difference can be noticeable.

I am obsessed with this light!! I get so many compliments when friends come over. It is the perfect vibe light when you're just chillin, pregaming, anything. It's a vibe daytime and at night. It really filled up my wall, and I was able shape it the way I wanted to. Also, it comes with screws to hang it up, but I just cut up some command strips to put on the back of the clips, so it is super renter-friendly as well!

I used these a little different than what was intended but so far they have worked out really well. I've only had them on about a week from writing this review so I may update later. I ended up using two sided tape along with silicon adhesive because that was the only thing that I could get to work and see far as pliability goes it's not all that great but doable. I will be getting the truck washed in a couple days so that will be a real test on how these are gonna hold up. They are pretty bright even with some light pollution but the app i don't care for. I was able to make these work also because I have an inverter installed in the truck so I could use 110v. I'll update this review if I need to but for the money out isn't a bad deal. Ok 1 month update. They didn't make it they are not waterproof as advertised. There are several dark spots and several spots that are discolored with different colors. I'm going to have to remove them I'm afraid. I'm gonna have to spend the money and get govie.

The media could not be loaded. Great product! Filled up the empty space behind my TV. Easy to hang up and adjust with lots of screws and hooks added. I thought 32 feet would be way too long but it fit my 6 foot wall perfectly with much more length to play with the design. The remote control is easy to use with lots of color variations. (More color options on the app. Easy to download and use.) Great price for the length and does not have any significant light delays. Some of the hooks do move a bit after hanging but once the rope is on there, they stay in place.

Unsuccessful sticking clips to the ceiling
The light rope itself is nice looking, with changing light modes and colours. The mode that responds to sounds is neat. They have stood up to a lot of handling as we tried many times to install them around the ceiling edges of a bedroom. And they have been on every night for a month and still work. But, the attachment clips are a disaster. We tried many ways to hold up the rope with the clips and failed. We did not use the screws provided and instead tried mounting tape to adhere the clips to the ceiling. Tried 3M Scotch double sided foam core permanent tape and Gorilla permanent double sided clear (15 lb) tape and neither stick very well to the plastic clips intended to support the rope. Especially when trying to change rope direction to make a shape or go around a corner, the rope puts too much stress on the clips and the tape detaches from the clip. It’s always hard to find a tape to stick to plastic, and this rope is too heavy for those clips using at least these tapes. The light rope kits come with little screws that can go through the middle of the base of the clip to screw into a surface. But, the screws are not appropriate to secure to drywall ceiling or wall as they are too small and would just pull out and leave a hole. Might go into solid wood. We spent over 15 hours repeatedly trying to put the rope light around the ceiling of kid’s bedroom and it just wouldn’t stay up. Even with the Gorilla tape it all fell down after a few hours. The clips just did not work for us. In the end, we used a 50ft length of double-sided 3M mounting tape and stuck the entire length of rope light to the top edge of the crown moulding. The rope light is up and straight. So, my recommendation is to attach the rope light on its long edge to a surface with a continuous length of heavy duty mounting tape for LED strip lights. I’m expecting it will pull of the paint when one day I take them down, so budget for a spackle and paint job when that day comes.
