Currently I’m running an Ark Survival, V-rising, 7days, Conan Exiles, and 2 Minecraft servers on this pc.I don’t really use it for much else. I did upgrade to the 64gb ddr5 which is the max for this machine and everything runs without issue. Highly recommend for server use as opposed to always renting one from hosting sites.Extremely quiet.

I have never updated a review. I want to in this case. This PC is awesome. I left a negative review. I want to change my review. I wish to state I I copied my first review and plan to paste it in at the end of this updated review. I no longer place blame on jack's shop or Minisforum. I now have had 3 PC's that failed because of Windows 11 updates. In each of those incidents this same thing occurred. As most of you know when installing a Windows update restarting the PC is part of the installation. My 3 PC's that got messed up all did the same thing. Windows update appeared to be installing normally during the shutting down phase. However, during the starting back up phase all I got was a black screen. So I now blame Microsoft. I read news yesterday. Many others besides myself has had the same thing happen. My advice is to use Windows 10 until this issue is resolved. Also many people have successfully installed this update I don't know how a person is to know in advance if their PC will install the update successfully. I do know nobody wants to deal with this. This was my original review: I connected it and used it for awhile (2 weeks) a short while then I was told Windows had an update. I thought sure update windows. The PC has never booted since. Before that update I used this PC and was so happy with it. When that update occurred I contacted Minisforum. They replied that I failed to update the BIOS. They were saying in a nutshell that it was my fault for not updating the BIOS. I had it only 2 weeks. I have updated a BIOS before. Straight out of the box it needs a BIOS update or it will crash because of Windows update. Really how was I to know it needed to have a BIOS update or Windows update will crash it. When it worked it was totally awesome. I am posting this to inform new buyers, the very first thing they should do is find out if they need to update the BIOS or they may have the same thing happen them. They sold me a Windows PC with a BIOS that can't handle a windows update. Then said it was my fault for not updating the BIOS. It wasn't my fault like they (Minisforum) says they sold me a new PC with a flawed BIOS. They didn't want to backup their product so they blamed me.

To start off, to call this a gaming PC is laughable. Even when I first got it I was unable to play Skyrim at 1080p and get acceptable framerates without dropping the detail level down to medium and even then within half an hour it would CTD. It was however extremely fast for everything but gaming and in the benchmarks I ran I believe it scored in the top 13%, impressive.My major problems with this unit started a couple of months ago when I added an SSD for more storage. On the side of the unit that the hard drive goes into, there is zero cooling, zero vents and almost zero space. The PCB is double sided and the side that the CPU/GPU are on has all the cooling and the side that the memory and hard drives, 1xM.2 and 1xSSD, has no cooling at all. Adding an SSD rather than just upgrading to a larger M.2 was a big mistake.To be honest, I have not contacted their tech support team yet so my ranking for that is just a default 3 stars. I have done plenty of research, maybe something I should have done before I spent $800 on this unit, and what I found out is that the stability issues with this particular unit, the UM690, are well documented on Reddit and apparently the BIOS and the AMD drivers both play a big roll. In my case, I was also unlucky enough to get a model from before they started putting heat spreaders on the M.2 drive and memory.Right now I have the SSD drive sitting outside the unit and I ran some stress tests to find stable operating settings for the BIOS and it is back to running stable 24/7 as my DVR server. It is still worthless for gaming though.

I love this tiny pc. It is tiny but fast and powerful. Absolutely love this computer. Everything is just snappy.Update: I had a problem with the USB4 connection. My third monitor was working for three months and all of a sudden it stopped working. I contacted support and they helped me to resolve the problem. Then I realized that there were two USBC ports. One was labeled USB4 and the other just had a USBC symbol. I kept connecting the monitor to the symbol instead of the USB4 port. When I switched the connection to the USB4 port, the third monitor worked again. I was very embarrass to say the least. Total human error. Anyways, I emailed support and told them what happened and were happy that I resolved the problem. They were very patience with me. I would buy from then again.

Para nuestro uso: escolar, trabajo casero es más que suficiente!! Todo tiene y todo hace, le compré un monitor de 32", camara, teclado mecánico etc. Se las recomiendo!! Llegó en perfecto estado a mi domicilio...
Good PC until graphics card failed
This was a wonderful PC until it literally hit the 1 year mark. The graphics card is failing and causing green screens and won't stay on for more than a few moments. I've freshly installed windows and it cannot get past the windows installation without blanking out.

Hace unos dias que llego, lo he estado probando y el desempeño del equipo es mucho mejor de lo que esperaba, demasidado bueno. Antes de decidirme por este equipo estaba viendo la posibilidad de comprar una laptop, el incoveniente de esos equipos fue que por un lado tenian algunas caracteristicas que los hacian interesantes y por otro lado carecian de otras cosas que para mi son indispensables. Asi que me enfoque en buscar un buen equipo y encontre este mini pc. El rendimiento del equipo es demasiado bueno, el procesador AMD Rizen es bastante potente y la memoria ram que elegi fue de 32 Gb mas que suficiente para cubrir mis necesidades. Me gusta que los puertos USB tipo A que tiene son versiones mas recientes, asi como el detalle de contar con puerto USB tipo C, uno de ellos compatible con video, asi como la version mas reciente de Windows, en este caso Windows 11 Pro. Asi que si piensas comprar un mini pc, no lo dudes mas, este mini pc de Minisforum es ¡Demasiado bueno! te garantizo que no te arrepentiras, y asi como los buenos perfumes vienen en envases pequeños, las mejores PCs tambien vienen en carcazas pequeñas.
No puedo creer lo bien que funciona
Definitivamente el equipo se siente más rápido que una Mac M1 (al menos con Linux que es como lo uso), pero tiene mucho más RAM y espacio en disco, y además cuesta mucho menos que una Mac Mini. El único punto en contra es que hace más ruido, pero tampoco es para tanto.
