5.0 out of 5 stars Nice keyboard
Very happy with this keyboard. Arrived in good condition and I do enjoy the various lighting choices for the keys. Works well, would buy again.
4.0 out of 5 stars The keyboard is Amazing but one key doesn’t work
The media could not be loaded. I just need a new yellow switch, I don’t want to replace the whole keyboard since is an easy fix, I just need a yellow switch shipped to me. If it wasn’t for that it would be a 5 stars
5.0 out of 5 stars Trimmed Down in a good way
Coming from a full keyboard I was looking for a smaller keyboard that keeps the numpad while providing a volume wheel/knob.In its first day I am gaining the comfort of not having to extend over keys I don't use for work or leisure. The only hurdle of note is going back to a smaller 0 on the numpad.I like how the knob allows for light adjustment and volume, press-holding down like a button to alter between the two modes. An extra plus is the type c for a cleaner look with a right angled cable.
1.0 out of 5 stars Decent budget mechanical keyboard (check updated)
The media could not be loaded. So I have been rocking a keyboard from 2001 for last few years and it was time to retire it. I opted for the mechanical keyboard and kinda pulled trigger on one that looked aesthetically pleasing without knowing what each switch was. I got a yellow switch one and I actually like it. It feels heavy. Only downside is it didn't come with a keycap puller so I couldn't switch the keys around. Not a big deal. I'll update review in 3 months or so when I've had a full time to test it. So far so good.Update review change from 5* to 1 *. This keyboard is non functional in less than a month. Very disappointed because I genuinely liked it at first. I only use it for Google searching. I use my controller for gaming so it's like barely even used for it to be unfunctional already. My keyboard that's almost as old as me works better. Hoping I got a faulty one and it's just my luck but had to update said i would.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great layout for a small area
Everything works great, i have a spot on my standing desk that is just to short for a normal sized keyboard and this fits perfect; however the 0 on the number pad does take some time to get use to.
3.0 out of 5 stars Key sensitivity is the only concern
Plain and simple, the 2 and 5 keys require extra pressure to register the key press, while other keys like the ones around WASD are far too sensitive and register key presses with minimal effort. other than that, keyboard is decent for the price. keys make a nice, firm click and the colors of the board itself are satisfying.
2.0 out of 5 stars Cheap
Squishy keys and the "K" & "L" will only work with an unreasonable amount of pressure. Should have to mash the keys down.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best cheap keyboard I have found
I have spent years looking for a decent cheap brown keyboard for work. The RedRagon stuff all turned out to be crap with 0 customer support. I don't know about the Magegee support but so far all the keys work well and the layout is perfect for a reduced size keyboard.
A very nice piece of keyboard
Great keyboard.. the key press is so soft. Just delighted.
You get Replaceable KeyCaps, you need to know how to do it.
The product is great, it's just that as expected from an average replaceable keycap structure, sometimes some debris will get stuck under the keys and thus you get either false presses or no presses or something in between. But you can easily fix that if you just remove the keycap and clean it up. Basic service is needed for consistency in performance. But overall, great budget keyboard.
Was not Hotswappable
It seems like they have a base keyboard that they ship as per the features and layout then they give the keycaps extra. But they might have either shipped the wrong base keyboard or the keyboard just isn't hot swappable.Even though there was a switch puller included in the box, there were no extra switches given. I tried my best to pull out the switches with the switch puller, but it did not budge. The only option that seemed would have been to open up the keyboard which voids warranty, therefore not hot swappable.
Suddenly stopped working after 9 months
Bought this last december, but now it suddenly stopped working. Warranty claim also doesnt seem to be possible. All the keys are not hot swappable (only the coloured ones are, not the regular black ones). Pointless and highly risky purchase. Not worth the money, go for something else.
Black / Brown varient
My key board just arrived today. I will mention the goods before I talk about the cons,1. The build quality is decent for its price2. I went with brown switches, I haven't noticed any ghosting and the key travel plus feel is good as you would expect from brown switches.3. They have extra key caps and the switches can be swapped (You will have to order a new set of switches tho because they do not provide it)4. The connector for the keyboard is long enough and is usb type C to USB 2.4.5. Stands on the keyboard are sturdy and have a good grip to it.6. Decent light effects for the price range.Cons:1. Brand new keyboard but the fonts are already faded and some keys have half missing fonts which means after a while I will be forced to order a new set of keys, this is a huge minus for me considering I just got the keyboard.2. No RGB, the while light is not bright enough.3. Cable is not braided so it's prone to damage if not used correctly.4. The switches are not easy to swap/remove. You will end up damaging if you do not know what you are doing.Overall for the price it's a good keyboard, it would have been amazing of they gave us extra pair of switches to swap out of. If you are in need of a decent looking keyboard for budget friendly price, you won't go wrong with this one. I will update the review after a couple of months.
