    My finches won't even tough the "cotton" stuff. After reading some reviews, I thru that away. The other material is extremely long fibers. Way too long for the type birds I have. Grabbed a bunch, and cut it down to about 1 to 2 inch size, and the birds love it...so far. We'll se how chicks survive. Personally, I think cut paper towels and twine work just as good.

    When received, this product looked NOTHING like the photo on Bolo; it was one smashed package and looked poor quality. Also, I learned the "cotton" bedding was actually made of plastic, which is dangerous for birds. I looked on YouTube and found ways to use native/natural fiber that will not harm birds like this product will.
