The bottle is well constructed and elegant, modern. The parfum is beautifully composed with great wear, a little on the softer silage side. If you would like a dupe of YSL - Black Opium that isn't quite as bold that is smelled on a more intimate basis this might be the one for you. It's just a little more of a skin scent. Don't get me wrong - if someone is sitting next to you or having an in person conversation they will catch enticing hints of this fragrance that will of course inspire curiosity and make you a little more mysterious. It just doesn't herald your arrival and prolong your departure with quite the veracity that YSL's Black Opium does; but it does wear longer than the YSL. Perhaps a great way to extend the wear of the YSL is to carry the Dossier for touch-ups, or vice versa.I love it. It is mysterious, alluring, sexy, and delicious all at once while still being elegant and sophisticated. A "I'm super sexy without trying" kind of scent.

Gorgeous scent! I love perfumes & I’m super picky. I either love or return. This scent is gorgeous. Smells a bit sweet but not overly sweet, not super vanilla just a hint of it with sophistication lol …Very soft and sultry. I applied moisturizer (thin thin layer Vaseline) then sprayed perfume… stayed on my skin probably 8+hrs and i checked my sweater the next day you could easily smell it on my sweater. Definitely worth the $

i have no clue what the negative reviews are talking about tbh. it's warm, sweet, fruity, and just overall pleasant. the scent changes when you apply it, it's real nice in the bottle but sooo much better on the skin. i've noticed it changes throughout wear as well, sort of shifts with your sweat. the pear really shines through at times lmaoit isn't too strong but boy can you smell it and it lasts thus-far. my main concern was being around my ma because she's highly sensitive to scents (candles, perfume/cologne, incense, oils, air fresheners, foods, you name it) most things cause migraines and sneezing fits for her but she loves it. my partner and younger brother do as well.i'd like to add that it's an androgynous scent with a fem lean, would pair wonderfully with masculine scents and i plan to do so, v excited!(little update, i paired it with woody oakmoss and get lots of compliments, it smells AMAZING)lastly, i've been wearing it for around 2½ hours and it's still going strong. i can smell myself every time i move or the wind blows, it's so nice😭very glad i ignored the negative reviews because... i didn't experience any of that. maybe they just received bad batches??(no alcohol smell)(lasts as long as it should as it is only a 15%)(not migraine inducing)

I have been looking for a warm cozy vanilla scent that lasts all day, when i ordered this i was hoping for that. When i smelled this perfume it did make me smile because it does smell very good but i personally don’t smell any vanilla. It smells more like a sweet floral scent, it does give off a slight warm vibe but definitely more sweet than cozy. I would probably wear this on a day out or going out to lunch with the girls. I’m not sure how long it will last since i’ve just received it but it smells like it would last for the day (not too strong or overpowering though)

Floral is a but strong, I would name this perfume something else to be honest. But I looove the scent. It's light, warm, sweet and a bit on the floral side. The notes of vanilla are in the back ground. I absolutely love it. :)
3.0 out of 5 stars Smells like Black Opium-does not last
I will say the perfume does smell incredibly similar to YSL's Black Opium, which I was happy about. However, an Eau De Parfum is a higher concentration that should last up to 8 hours or even more which did not happen for me. I would say it had great concentration for about 2 hours then began to wear out with it being completely gone within 4 hours. While the price is amazing for being so similar to Black Opium I do question if this is a true Eau de Parfum and not an Eau de Toilette (which roughly has a lifespan of 4 hours). Overall, the fragrance and price are phenomenal, but the fragrance does not last as long as you would imagine for what it is advertised for. Maybe it is just my bottle and perhaps I got a "bad batch" but the scent overall is great and a great deal compared to what you would pay for the true YSL Black Opium.

I'm very impressed with the dossier fragrance line. I purchased the ambery vanilla, which is a dupe for ysl's black opium. Top notes of mandarin, pair, pink pepper, licorice. Middle notes of jasmine, Orange blossom. Base notes Cedarwood, patchouli, vanilla, coffee. I was looking for an affordable fragrance that you can wear every day around the house if you do not want to use up your expensive luxury fragrance. This smells extremely similar to Black opium. I can definitely pick up the coffee note and its fragrance. The bottle is very modern and simplistic with a magnetic lid. It comes packaged in a sturdy box. One thing I love about this line is that you can return the fragrance if you're not in love with it, On their website. I personally love this one. This lasts on my skin for hours. I can even smell it all my clothes the next day. I've received many compliments while wearing this beautiful fragrance. It feels classy and elegant with giving some spice. I recommend this scent for the fall and winter. I will definitely repurchase.
