5.0 out of 5 stars An Excellent Denon AV Receiver At A Great Price!
Denon makes great audio equipment, and this Denon AVR-S570BT is no exception. After 12+ years of daily, faithful use, my Pioneer AV receiver bit the dust. I researched many quality "budget" AV receivers (to make the wife happy...lol), to replace the Pioneer receiver, and a lot of reviews and recommendations came up with the Denon AVR-S570BT. This Denon AV receiver is very intuitive, and easy to setup. It also has a LOT of features in this lower price range. This Denon AV receiver powers all 5 of the passive, original Pioneer Andrew Jones Design speakers (the subwoofer is self-powered) in my 5.1 surround system very well, and with great clarity. No, this Denon AV receiver won't blow the roof off the house, but it does get very loud, even with inefficient speakers, as the Pioneer speakers are, with an 84 db to 87 db sensitivity rating. However, the Pioneer speakers are 6 ohm, so that helps to increase this Denon AV receiver to 90 watts per channel, instead of 70 watts per channel at 8 ohms. This Denon AV receiver also seems to run a lot cooler than the Pioneer receiver it replaced, especially at higher volumes. This Denon AV receiver has just enough "bells and whistles" for my needs, as I really don't need 7.2 surround capability, Dolby Atmos, or WiFi features that come with the more expensive Denon AV receivers. Although, the included Bluetooth connection does come in handy, and it works very well with Samsung Galaxy Smart Phones. The automatic speaker calibration and setup is pretty accurate, but it also allows tweaking to individual sound tastes. There are probably features and modes of this Denon AV receiver that I will never use, but it's nice to know they are included just in case I need them.Overall, I highly recommend this Denon AVR-S570BT for anyone that is looking for a high-quality "budget" AV receiver. Just know that it does not have all of the newest features of some of the more expensive Denon (and other brand) AV receivers. However, this Denon AV receiver serves its purpose for me quite well, and then some. Only time will tell regarding durability and longevity. However, Denon does make quality AV receivers, and if I can get the 12 years out of this Denon AV receiver that I did out of my previous Pioneer AV receiver, I will be a very happy camper. So-far-so-good, though.
5.0 out of 5 stars Ya just cant go wrong with a Denon - AVR-S970H Ultra HD Receiver
The set up menu (via on screen TV) was super simple to use with the provided microphone and very long cable. I also had Wifi, Heos and input devices all running within 15 minutes of the unpacking. This receiver has excellent sound and plenty of power for my entertainment system. Other than the excellent performance (and everything works!), it even looks very nice as well. A+, what I was hoping for and more.
4.0 out of 5 stars Satisfied with the Price, OK reciver
The media could not be loaded. Took a chance and bought this unit refurbished for 220$ does everything that it says it doesUsing this with JBL Northridge series speakers and denon subIt feels very cheap nothing like all of my dads older Denon receivers. Maybe that’s just how they make them now? The receiver is very light and the volume Nob feels cheap and almost like I could just rip it off. That being said it does sound alright and the hdmi inputs work. I have my Apple TV switch ps4 and my desktop going into my receiver then to my tv. I don’t notice any latency or resolution decreases! For 200$ I am very satisfied with my purchase however I couldn’t justify buying this for the retail price of 400$
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful sounding amp, great price
I love almost everything about this receiver. I replaced an old (pre HDMI) surround receiver with this. It allows me to cut down on spaghetti wire syndrome dramatically! The sound is clear, rich, and plenty loud for my living room. I use it to power a 5.0 channel speaker set up (surround but no subwoofer- by front channel L/R speakers give me as much bass as I want). It also has a decent onboard phono stage, a rarity these days, so you don't have to shell out extra money to get started with a turntable. Some turntables have built in pre-amps, but mine doesn't, and the ones that do usually charge more additional money than you might spend get an outboard phono stage of comparable quality. The one thing I find troublesome is the labyrinthine tuner preset configuration. Instead of letting you establish all your FM presets, it gives you a huge number of pre-existing ones that you have to defeat in a menu, and none of those are below 92.1, where nearly everything I want is found. The surround audio options are great, and I love hearing all of my 5.1 music with good separation for the first time since my ancient DVD-A player died. This unit also interacts with a TV very intuitively and was easy to set up for that. The TV audio feature allows me to run direct from the Roku and fire-stick to the TV and still get the audio on the surround set up without having to do a workaround. If you are looking for a good surround audio hub at a reasonable price, I don't think you can beat this.
The best av receiver I have ever owned
This is by far the best receiver I have ever owned I Just replaced my Onkyo TX NR 646 of course it has the very common overheating chip failure problem and it Just stop working and of course Onkyo Canada would not return any of my Emails or phone calls so I searched everywhere to find a top notch AV receiver with great reviews at a price that wouldn't break the bank and this Denon AVR-S970H 8K Ultra receiver was very easy to set up this sound and Picture is absolutely stunning I highly recommend this AV receiver you will not be disappointed

RECEIVER DENON Avr-S570bt
Recomendo
