I used this bag for a 4 day trip. It was perfect as a carry-on on the plane. I love the different compartments. I've only used it once so far but it seems very sturdy and the arm handles are well cushioned and comfortable. Inside holds tons of items and the adjustable straps on the outside allows you to make the bag more compact. Definitely worth the buy.

If you’re looking for a bag to use as a personal item along with your carry on for travel, to avoid checked bag fees, look no further. This backpack is very well made of high quality materials & holds a shocking amount. I fit several days of clothing, (especially in compression cubes!) as well as a large laptop, tablet, snacks, wallet and makeup bag, travel documents and toiletries. I even attached a travel pillow snd blanket to the outside. It opens well for TSA inspectors without having to pull everything out and re-pack at security. The trolley sleeve means weight is less of an issue and the exterior pockets let you access your phone and essentials fast. I was able to travel for ten days with just this & a carryon -with plenty of room to bring back souvenirs when I expanded it. For the price of one checked bag fee, get this well made, durable & large capacity backpack and never check a bag again.

I can’t give it 5 stars just yet because I havnt actually used it. I have an upcoming trip this weekend and it’s my first time in 38 years traveling without a checked bag. I’m generally an over packer but i figured since it’s a 3 day trip I should be able to handle this. So far, this thing is huge, it’s literally luggage with shoulder straps. It’s light weight, which is great because if it was heavy before I stuffed it I was going to return it. It has 2 front pockets and a main pocket. The main pocket opens to the side and it opens all the way like a normal suitcase which is going to be convenient when I need to get things out of it, I hate fishing things out of the top of a book bag. It has a pocket in the side for like a water bottle or something. The inside has like one of those mesh zipper things that you can put little things in like socks so they don’t get lost in your other stuff. For now I’m going to say I’m satisfied with the amount of things I can put into it. I’ll update once I’ve actually traveled with it. Wish me luck.Update. I traveled with it. It’s everything I needed and more I literally fit everything I needed. Makeup, shoes, clothes and a bunch more. (I am a notorious over packer) I did fly spirit so it didn’t fit under the seat but it’s ok because I took my shoes off and used it as a foot rest. If it was a United flight it would have fit. You do have to be careful because it can get very heavy because it’s literally a whole suitcase on your back. My sister and friend got the same one in different colors we were all pleased with our purchase. The zippers are good, I’m not sure why people say they are cheap. It has so many pockets and the fact that the big pocket opens up to the side just like a suit case is amazing.

Message to seller: I'm on day 31 of the return window. I accidentally added two of these to my cart. Is it possible to return one that is still in the original packaging, please? The link to return on Bolo isn't available any longer.Backpack is great. Very spacious and great quality. My daughter used for a 2 week trip to Italy. She fit 2 pairs of levis, 2 dress pants, 7 shirts, a sweater, 7 pairs of socks and under garments- all in a vacuum seal bag, as well as a pair of shoes, a laptop, the charger and a quart size bag of toiletries. American Airlines allowed her to use it as a carry on.

Trying to maximize your personal item space? Look no further! This is a great "little" bag for this.Pros:+ Definitely counts as a personal item in size. That means it is large - probably would look comically large on a short person as a back pack.+ Love that it has multiple ways to carry (side handle, strap, backpack strap)+ Straps to hold clothes in the main body of the bag+ Love that the bag unzips pretty much all the way. Extremely useful for packing and unpacking+ Love that there are little compression buckles on the side - works well to shrink the bag a little to fit under the seat.+ Soft sides means you have a little wiggle room if you are asked to put it in a bag sizer before you get on the plane.+ Pretty sturdy and well made. Should hold up to multiple trips.Cons:- Pretty much no pockets in the bag beyond an outside front pocket and the "laptop" pocket. This is not really a con - not having pockets actually leaves more room for things in the main body of the bag (like clothes). If you are trying to organize in the bag, you will need to use your own packing cubes/organizers.- The "compression strap" inside the bag provides almost no compression. It is more of a "keep clothes from sliding out" strap than "compression" strap.
