Bolo reviewI purchased size XL gloves because of the length of my fingers. I was concerned that when the gloves arrived that they’d be too bulky for my narrow hands. However, I was delighted to find that the wrist straps appropriately took up the slack and that the elastic drawcord worked sufficiently to tighten the gloves around my arm. While adding the battery pack does add a little weight to the gloves, once the battery pack was positioned to my preferred position for comfort, having the battery packs in the gloves was not an inconvenience. The gloves do have some puff to them so I also tried doing small things with the gloves on such as picking up a shirt on a hanger, holding my phone, gripping handles, and picking up smooth and rough objects and I was able to do this within reason. It was also very easy to press the temperature button to switch between levels with the gloves on. Overall, the gloves were comfortable and easy to operate.Although I live in a primarily warm climate, I use heavy-duty gloves and wool socks to keep my hands and feet warm even when others are wearing a thin cotton long-sleeve shirt and sandals😊 I also travel to colder places for business so I like to keep a pair of thick gloves handy. The first thing I noticed with these gloves is that even without the heat turned on my hands began to warm up. Upon adding the battery pack and turning on the heater I was able to easily tell the difference between the three settings. In order to feel the gloves warm quickly you’ll have to use the highest setting. The lower setting did a good job of maintaining a low warmth after using the higher setting. Understandably it took longer for my hands to warm up on the low and medium settings; however, if you’re going on a long walk or will need the heat for an extended period of time those settings will get the job done.Overall, I am very satisfied with these gloves and I’m looking forward to being able to use them year-round as needed.

5.0 out of 5 stars FINALLY toasty fingers

After years walking my dog in Winter cold, I invested in these heated gloves. I did SO much research looking for a pair that kept the fingers warm, not just your palms or back of the hand. These work! My hands were toasty and the gloves extend back over the end of the arm of my jacket to prevent chill going from hand to arm. The adjustable strap keeps them tight on your hand and I like the little clip that keeps the gloves together if you take them off so you don’t loose one. There is only one downfall for my use of them: I can’t grab things very well. While they work to hold the dog leash, I play fetch with my dog and the gloves are stiff to easily pick up her fetch toy or clean up dog poop. Maybe after more use they will loosen a bit. But I manage and worse case I take them off for a few seconds and then put them back on. If you use them for general usage, like shoveling, walking, or any outdoor activities, they are great. The batteries weren’t in the way as some reviews suggested. They fit snug in the wrist area. The charge was good, even though I charge them up after each use. Can’t speak for longevity of the batteries since I only used them a couple months now. Material quality is also good. Haven’t gotten them wet yet. I also like how easy it was to adjust the heat level while using. Just tough the pad and it changes color to show the different heat level. Well worth buying!

4.0 out of 5 stars Gloves probably good for intended purpose; less so for mine.

I bought these gloves in anticipation of colder weather, and then, between travel and unseasonably warm weather for several weeks, it’s taken me a while to write this evaluation.First, everything in the box is exactly as described on Bolo. The charger can charge both batteries simultaneously, the case keeps the gloves clean during warmer months, there are three settings, and the preheat function works as expected. (Or in my case, as _unexpected_ – I originally missed that in the description and didn’t realize what was happening when the heat downshifted.)Second, this is a clear case of my buying a product and hoping that it will fit my need, rather than the need it was specifically designed for.Let me talk about the good things first:1. The gloves are warm. At least for Colorado weather, they seem to keep my hands insulated, and the heating function seems to work nicely.2. I’d be remiss if I didn’t address the cool factor: the heating buttons are almost, but not quite in the same location as the buttons on Ant-Man’s suit. And while I recognize that the location was probably chosen to avoid bumping it accidentally and unintentionally changing the setting, I can’t help but think how much better that location would be for quick temperature changes (single-handed action), plus the cool factor would just be that much better.3. The electrical conductivity (for touchscreen use) seems smooth and better than any other gloves I’ve used for a similar purpose. Now, some of the not so good things:1. The gloves are bulky. So bulky that I can’t use them for a lot of activities. Recognizing that they were likely designed for outdoor winter sports, that’s not how I intend to use them. Fine motor movements are difficult. I have to make sure that I get my keys out of my pockets before I walk to the car. If I drop my keys, I have to take off a glove to pick them up. And, at least while new, the material seems a bit stiff, making it harder to manipulate things than I would have expected. I’m looking forward to using them for shoveling snow.1a. The width of the fingertips makes using a touchscreen more difficult than it should be given the smoothness of the conductivity. Since the fingertips cover a third of my smartphone’s screen, it’s easy to miss the icon/button/etc. that I’m trying to touch and hit a different one by mistake.2. The cuffs are long. Now, that’s a selling point if you also wear a sport jacket. The gloves’ cuffs will fit over the jacket’s cuffs, and will prevent heat from escaping and ice, snow, etc., from getting in. If you wear a peacoat or other coat with wider sleeves – as I do – then that’s less of a selling point.3. The batteries are round. I didn’t think about this when I originally purchased the gloves, but I would have expected them to have a slightly lower profile which conforms more to the back of my arm where the batteries are placed. Now, because of the location, I’ve not noticed that the battery gets in my way in the manner I would have expected.4. I can’t really tell where the heating elements are. The fingers are the place I need the most heat, but it feels like he heat starts in the palms and backs of the hands, then progresses outward. That could just be my perception, but I’d prefer the other way. Please take any criticisms in this review with a grain of salt. There’s a very good chance that any criticisms I might have based on my specific situation actually serve as major plusses for someone who has a different situation. Having said that, for my purposes, I’d prefer thinner gloves that give me significant movement, but use the heating technology to balance out their insulation. Plus, I want buttons that look like Ant-Man’s. :)

Purchased three pairs as Christmas presents with no regrets. Everyone was very happy with the warmth they provided the longevity of the battery and the waterproof quality.

    So far so good

Didn't have time to use them that much, since we have a mild winter this year, not the cold that we usually feel in the harsh Canadian winters (will probably be really useful in 2-3 weeks, since we're only on the third day of January).Wore them without the battery on and they were really warm. With the battery on, they were really hot! Perfect for winter sports, shovelling, walking the dog, etc. But don't expect to do something that requires dexterity, as they are big, no, huge and heavy!

    Not as advertised

I read alot of the reviews before purchasing and now I'm thinking some people are way off or I got a dud. I work outdoors and need warm gloves, and ones that are touch screen compatible. I Have tried so many styles and none will keep my fingers warm. Decided to try heated gloves andSo today was the first day using these gloves. It was -5c outside and you can feel the warmth, However not so much in the fingers. And almost none in the thumbs. I didn't need to use the highest setting which I was surprised at. They are comfortable but the battery life is horrible. I wore these for about 3.5hrs. Noticed they turned off. Put them back on and again turned right back off. For the company to list upto 8hrs is certainly not true. As for the temp not sure they would be good for temps lower than -10c gunna try them again tomorrow and if its the same results I'll return them. Definitely not happy with this purchase for now
