This magnet is very strong! Additionally it is itself light weight, and arrived neatly packed in a foam padded box. I would suggest caution as to what you attach it to. It is very strong and difficult to "un-attach".

The magnet is very strong but because of its small size and the fact that it is only magnetic on the bottom, it cannot be used well for magnet fishing. It seems high quality but it will be used for other things because it does not work for magnet fishing.

As advertised this magnet is very strong and you don’t want to get your hand or fingers between it and any metal . As it turns out the reason I bought it wasn’t needed after all but I’m sure other necessities will arise for it’s use.

Bought this because I keep dropping tools in the lake!Used it to retrieve an Allen key and a socket in minutes.. super strong and light weight. Just tie it to a small piece of twine and boom! Works great!
