I finally took the leap of faith to buy my paralyzed dachshund a bed online, and I’m so glad this is the one I chose. I looked through so many different reviews and this one stood out to me for not just the price, but the ability to flip the padding between the cooling side and the normal memory foam side for her comfort. The removable cover also stood out since unfortunately being partially paralyzed ended up effecting her bladder and bowel control as well.The second I opened the box, both of my dogs and my cat were intrigued. The set up is easy and it will tell you to let it expand overnight, but it fluffed right up almost instantly - none of my three pets gave it a chance to anyways. They were on the mat as soon as it came out of the packaging and I had to wait for them to get off so I could put the cover on!I got a larger size to allow both of my dachshunds to lay on it, and my paralyzed girl loves curling up against the edge of it and resting her head on it. Since she can still use her front legs, it’s low enough to the ground where she can get herself on and off of the bed as she pleases and we don’t have to worry about her injuring herself in the night.This was the perfect Prime Day purchase to make sure my babies are comfortable as they’re getting older, and I love that it’s versatile enough so all 3 pets can lay comfortably on it when they want to.

Truth... I have had this dog bed for a couple hours when writing this review. My dog took to the bed immediately. Granted, it's 105 degrees outside and she was happy to come indoors for some repreive; but she also has been snoring away since climbing onto the bed. I normally buy my dog used crib mattresses and then use fitted crib sheets but haven't found any lately and she really needed a new bed. I hate most "Dog" beds because I have to take the cover off and then the stuffing falls off or is stuck to the inside &they stink more. The stuffing and the bed cover are separate and both in their own vacuum sealed package. After cutting open, I layed out the cushion and it almost immediately began to fluff. I then opened and unfolded the cover; the bolster has the cushioning built-in so there is no taking that part out for cleaning/washing. The cover unzips 2 of 4 sides. I find this helpful in getting the cusion in/out. It was super easy to assemble, I bought the XL because my dog is a big girl and getting older. The XL gives her more than enough room to stretch out. The cushion is plenty firm for her older joints. Because she is mostly an outdoor dog, I keep her beds covered. Happy Doggy!

This bed has been a game-changer for my dog’s naps. The plush material feels super soft, and the raised edges are perfect for her to rest her head. She absolutely loves it—she even chooses this bed over sleeping on mine! I also appreciate how easy it is to clean; just a quick wash, and it’s good as new. If you want to spoil your pet with a bed that’s both cozy and practical, this is the one!

Time for a new dog bed. I received the bed and unlike the "paid" reviews from people who got it free for a good review, I followed the instructions for assembling the bed. I purchased a medium in dark brown for an 11 pound dog. I let it "rest" the requested 48 hours before putting the mattress in the outer cover. Since it looked terribly wrinkled, I CAREFULLY used my steamer in the flat part of the bed avoiding the bottom skid resistant cloth. That improved its looks considerably. Inserting the foam base was easy. Then came the crucial test. Would she like it? Yes!!! She went right in and laid her head on the bolster. I over bought on size as she likes to stretch out sometimes and just fits the interior. She can curl up in the corner and rest her head. Plus there is room for her to pull in her sizeable blanket and rearrange to her hearts content. Perfect size. While it still looks a bit wrinkled, it is much better than the other pictures buyers have sent in, though not as sharp as the picture on the Bolo page. It is soft and a bit fuzzy and a good addition to our great room/kitchen area. As it is brand new, I cannot yet comment on durability, how it washes, and if it tears easily, as she is a frantic bed arranger....much scratching. The zipper seemed sturdy enough. People mentioned the narrowness of the foam egg crate insert. Buying a size up and her being small, it seems fine for us. I would recommend. I would give 5 stars if washing works out and the bolster will dry. At this point the dog and I are greatly pleased. I would recommend this bed.

I actually bought this orthopedic bed for one of my dogs who was angry with me for removing an extra twin bed from my bedroom. She loved to sleep on her own twin bed, (she's big), so I replaced it with this. She is loving this bed, and it's actually big enough for my husky beagle mix and the sheltie to share it. It's large enough that they can lay side by side and be in close proximity but not actually touching, or they can cuddle, which they do occasionally. It's also great that the cover is removable and can be washed, as we enter mud season again.

Our old 175lb great dane loves this bed. More than enough room to curl up or stretch out and about the same height as the crib mattress she wore out. Easy on/off cover for washing and the padding is easy on her old bones. I just lay her blanket on top to help keep it clean longer, then she gets a cover blanket and a toy for bed, and she's a happy puppy.

I got the large and it is much bigger than I thought! I ordered one for each of my dogs because they usually demand their own beds but they like to lay on the beds together and even allow the cats to lay with them. One of my dogs has arthritis and she loves her bed. I think she gets hot laying on it in the summer so she will lay with her hips on it and the rest of her body on the hard wood. We have had it for about a year and they’ve survived cats clawing and peeing, multiple washes, and multiple animals cuddling. I recommend. When one of our cats does occasionally pee on it, it doesn’t soak through the cover.

Ordered a large and received a small also base of bed was ripped could only put one reason for return which is ridiculous! When I receive my payment will be ordering another because the bed itself is lovely
Happy older dog
Well made item, sturdy and supportive. Little back and side rests lets your dog comfortably feel supported. Easy zip off cover for cleaning. Only drawback is due to the type of material it really collects and shows the dog hair but I guess that’s not a bad thing because if it’s not in the bed then it’s on the floor.

Wish it came in my size!This bed is amazing. Really good quality. Perfect thickness, did need some time to fill out after opening. My dog is 45lb Australian shepherd, border collie mix. I got the XL 112 x 81. It’s probably “too big” technically but as you can see, he loves it and can stretch out. I’d recommend to any dog owner.
