I had used the same mascara brand for years but it was discontinued a few years ago. I'd been searching for a replacement ever since but all of the options I tried failed miserably. Prime Prometics does not disappoint. I ordered the blue and wore it all day on a hot day and had no flakes. At the end of the day, I did NOT have more mascara under my eyes than on my lashes -- in fact, I used a makeup remover under my eyes and to my amazement -- no blue at all! So (and I know I'll be drummed out of the corp for this one) I left it on all night to see how it held up. I awoke with only the very faintest color under my eyes - it was almost undetectable. I never thought I'd be the kind of person who would pay $28.00 for mascara but this one is worth it. Now, Prime Prometics, please develop a "plum" shade for us green eye'd ladies!

I’ve owned many, many brands of mascara. But this one tops them all! I have a friend whose eyelashes are beautiful. (She is in her 70’s). She told me about this mascara, and suggested I try the brown color instead of black, since black might be a bit too dark on me. So I followed her advice, and couldn’t be happier. Great lash separation, and my lashes look natural. No “raccoon eyes” in the morning either.

I HAVE ALWAYS USED A BLACK MASCARA. MY EYELASHES ARE BLONDE AND I ALWAYS THOUGHT THAT A LIGHTER COLOR WOULD LOOK BETTER.IT IS DIFFERENT AND I HAVE TO GET USED TO IT - NOT AS DRAMATIC. VERY EASY TO PUT ON WHETHER YOU USE ANY COLOR OF THE MASCARA. NICE BRUSH AND THE MASCARA DOES NOT FEEL OVERLY THICK.
3.0 out of 5 stars Wet Formula/Bad Brush Design
I tried this mascara because it was marketed "for older women", and I fall into that demographic. It is not terrible, and I am not returning it, but two things prevent me from ever reordering. First - the mascara is very wet and takes much longer to dry than any others I have tried. This causes it to leave dots of mascara under the eyes and on eyeglasses until it is fully dry. Second - the brush design is poor. Older women often have droopy skin around their upper lash line, and a fat mascara brush makes it impossible to apply the mascara without getting it on the eyelid. A more narrow brush would allow application of the mascara to the entire lashes without depositing it on the eyelid. Wish more manufacturers would realize this. So - if you purchase this mascara, be prepared with lots of cotton swabs to clean off wayward mascara....

I ordered this only because it stated it was for older women. My order was received, processed, and the product was received the next day. The brand mascaras that I previously used just didn't look right for my age. I have blonde hair and normally purchased brown/black but the choices available were black and brown, so I purchased the brown. The application wand is thinner and longer and provides the right amount of mascara needed, makes my eyelashes looks natural, is easy to apply (especially to my thinning lower lashes), and does not clump. Very pleased and will order again when replacement is necessary.

I have very dry eyes and often get blepharitis. I haven't been able to wear mascara for well over a year, except occasionally. I tried lots of different brands & types. When I did wear it, for days afterwards.,my eyes were red, itch, and felt like flecks of dried mascara wear in my eyes. This mascara does not bother my eyes one bit. It is also much easier to remove, thus reducing irritating.

I LOVE the way this mascara makes my lashes look and it lasts all day. The only problem I have is removing it. It does not come off easily with soap and water. I bought the Prime Prometics make up remover, but it still does not come off without a lot of effort.

If one is looking for a non- smear, realistic looking and easy to use mascara, give this a try. It is not a flashy, raccoon eyed mascara but subtle and helpful for a woman who is, shall we say, not a spring chicken.😉This is a bit more expensive but more than worth it for me.

Mascara is perfect for anyone who has done chemo, thin lashes or just maturing gorgeously. It felt good to apply, enhances the length without clumping. If your lashes are thinning you need to give this a try. Only one swipe is all you need. It really helps enhance your eyes by freshening up the look! Enjoy

Nice mascara
Happy with the mascara. I wouldn't say it adds amazing length, but it doesn't clump like a lot of other mascara's which is good. Didn't get 5 stars as a pricey.
