I have been wanting to get into filming my hunts for awhile now, so I finally pulled the trigger on this mount.As Is:1) Love the small profile of it! No bulk and in the way like typical gopro mounts you see2) Inexpensive cost-there is a ton of value here for the low price in that it is sturdy and lightJust from that, it is more than worth the price.BUTI did a little customization to make it better!First, I will only ever be using a GoPro camera, so I took the screw out for the video camera as to not have something pointy, shiny, and unused on the mount. Easy to remove by prying out a tiny snap ring.Second, I cut off the picatinny rail that's on top of where it attaches to your crossbow or firearm rail because I hated the fact that it would not fit underneath my scope. There was no way I wanted higher rings. I did this with ease by using a vice and Milwaukee Hackzall. After, I sanded the surface to remove burs and sharp edges and got it as smooth, flat, and straight as possible. Then I simply repainted it.Eureka, brand new customized mount, now smaller, lighter in design and just as sturdy

For those of you who play airsoft and wish to record it without it affecting your game play this is a very good product. It’s simple and stable so you don’t have to worry about it falling off mid game. It is simple to attach a detached. With a GoPro mounted on your weapon with this mount you can start and stop recording quickly and efficiently. This mount is perfect for all those who wish to record airsoft game play from a weapon barrel point of view. For those of you who are filmmakers this mount offers a unique angle for any action film that uses military weapons. I plan to use this mount for a Counter Strike short film that I am producing. All in all this mount is a very useful tool to have for filmmakers, airsoft players, or GoPro documenters. As long as you have a weapon with a basic slider mount you’ll find a use for it.

I popped this mount on my Tavor TS12 with zero issue. I like the offset that even with my very large phone does not get in the way of my optic AT ALL! You can even mount a camera on the bottom simultaneously with the provided screw.

This is a fantastic mount that checks all the boxes. It's very durable, has no wobble when mounted, a genius 2 in 1 mounting design, and did I mention durable? The only concern with it (which is small) is the screw for the secondary camera has a slight rattle if not being used. I simply removed it and didn't have to worry about it since I won't use that part anyways. There aren't too many mounts out there that mount to the side of the rifle instead of the top/ bottom which block your view. Out of all the ones that there are though, this one takes the prize. I couldn't recommend this enough to whoever is interested in mounting their camera on their rifle!Pros:- Sturdy- Great 2in1 design- Side mounted!- Torque screw- Picatinny Rail AdapterCons- Small rattle from camera adapter screw

The media could not be loaded. I love this device. It has promisimg capabilities. However i could not find a device to mount it on. As shown in the photos, not every one will want to use guns to mount it. Hence it is not so practical to many. When ever i find myself at the range again i will make a video. However I think this can be developed a bit more domestic use like interviews. I am making a video to demonstrate it but i had to clamp to a wooden kitchen item to hold both cameras and get the interview set up - one cam on interviewer, the other on Guest. Watch out for it. I totally love it but need an item included to the pack to perfect it and make it more useable in everyday life.

very well built mount. Solid aluminum mount. Well machined. Tensioning screw is all aluminum also. used it to attach my action camera to my crossbow. The camera feels like it is not going to move around after it is locked down. The 1/4 20 screw is held in with a retaining washer and an Allen wrench is provided.The camera tips slightly when the tension screw is tightened. Hoping I can slip a washer or something thin in the camera mount slots to correct the issue. Looks like the slots might be just a little wide for my camera. The last 2 pictures show the mount on my crossbow and you can see how the camera leans to the left when tightened.Don't like the way the screws tighten from both sides. understand it was done due to the room between the two screws, but if one side had been machined an allen wrench would work to tighten the mount on the rail. as it is, you have to tighten from both sides.Bottom line, I would recommend this and will probably get another.
Very light weight.
Who ever designed this had users in mind. Being able to reach the screw through the tripod mount is a genius thank you. The piece it's self is very light weight compared to other units of similar design I've tried. Will definitely order a few more of these soon.
Decent unit
Wish the mounting machine screw was a few threads longer. Unit works. Id buy It
