I have owned birds 20+ years. I have purchased plenty of millet over the many years. When I opened the box of millet (5 pounds) it smelled so fresh that I was excited for my birds. As you can see by the photo the milled is large and plump just like the birds like it. I immediately feed some to my birds and they just eat it up. I have read several of the reviews that is why I had to speak up. Like I said I have purchased plenty of milled over the years and this is some quality millet. I will definitely be purchasing it again. I highly recommend you give it a try because the freshness and plump size is excellent.

I just received this product . I ordered it after reading reviews where customers described this Millet as The Best they ever saw ! Well , now having it at home I can clearly say that I SAW MUCH BETTER MILLET SPRAY THAN THIS ONE !!It looks like old , squeezed in the box with a lot of seeds squashed on the bottom . Color of this millet looks bad , almost like moldy, not like the picture company shows you on their shipping box and on their commercial. It should be golden but it looks grey , dirty , filthy. When somebody says it is the best millet they ever seen I just wonder if they really didn’t see any other millet before or there is something wrong with their eyes ! This thing looks bad ! I am not going to experiment giving it to my birds . It will land in the compost instead . Total waste of money ! I will order my 2 pounds of Millet from SLEEK & SASSY NUTRITIONAL DIET Golden Farms , which I was always buying before . It is 2 pounds instead of 5 but It is Perfect ! It looks good and my birdies love it . I tried save some money ordering from RANZ and now I pay the price. Never again !

I have had birds for 40 years. I buy lots of millet. I was worried about buying it this way, instead of the pet stores. When it arrived, I was pleasingly shocked! The millet is fresh looking and dry. It is huge!!!Lately, some of the pet stores millet seems damp when I open the bag, almost starting to mold, yikes.I will never buy millet other than this one again. I'm a customer for life!

I used to use Golden Farms brand. It's a great product, but, it's pricey. I tried other cheaper brands and that's where the mold and other disappointments happened. Enter Ranz 5lb Millet Spray! The price was affordable and the product was in very good condition. My Gouldian finches were happy and so was I.
