    I have tried really hard to find a cleanser that really cleans and get all my makeup off and leaves my pores clean. I’ve used IT, Bare Minerals, Revlon, Cover Girl, ELF, and more, currently using Laura Geller. Even using a micellar water hasn’t done the trick that well. I’ve tried inexpensive and expensive ones - tho only vegan.This cleanser is great! I’ve used it twice and very happy.Some people don’t like the smell of the mugwort. I actually like it a lot. It’s like a cross between camomile and Yerba Santa. Earthy and natural.Also, it’s concentrated. You only need about a pea size of the cleanser to work up a good lather.I will continue to use this!

    If you have ever eaten japanese yomogi mochi/daifuku you are already familiar with this scent, the closest western description I can come up with is an herbal-pine scent.I liked the essence a lot and decided to try the cleanser. Unfortunately --- unlike the essence which is very subtle --- the smell of this cleanser is simply overpowering and as you are washing your face you are drowning in it and choking on it.As soon as you wash it off, the scent starts to dissipate and does not linger but the dread factor is too high for me to continue using it.

    I absolutely love the mugwort essence & how it calms irritation, but I felt the formula for this cleanser needs some tweaking. It strips the skin too much & there is a slight fragrance. I just want it to compliment the essence better than I feel it currently does.
