Bought this set of rechargeable lights to use inside some under-the-stairs closet space, that has no electrical access. Have used several cheap, battery powered lights, in the past. But they typically aren't very bright, and require BATTERIES, every so often.So I spotted this set, and was very impressed, for several reasons. They are rechargeable. NO batteries, to keep swapping out. They tend to be fairly bright, for average usage. There are TWO of them, in the pack. They simply attach, by placing them in two simple magnetic, u-shaped holders, that attach to whatever surface you need (but giving you a one-time attachment placement, of the holders themselves. I wouldn't try to re-attach the sticky tape on the back of the holders, more than once). BUT, the cool part .... you can pull each of the lights out of its holder, super-easy, and take it wherever else you might need some light, for a little while. In other words, it works as a stationery light, while in its magnetic holder (which have good magnetic 'grab'), and/or you can use it as a portable flashlight, WHEN you need to.They also have several power settings .... on/off, auto daylight-off/night-on, auto motion-activated, or ON constantly (flashlight mode). I can open the closet door, and it automatically comes on. It stays on while I'm inside (moving), and then will shut off AUTOMATICALLY about 20 seconds after I close the closet door.So with all that, these things are great ! I honestly think most people would love them. Simple, yet loaded with features, easy to use, and at a reasonable cost.

I've been helping my Dad with accessories for his new Ford Maverick. After installing a bed cover, I wanted to add lights so he could see in there without removing the cover every time. I got a set of pigtails for the power ports back there, and started installing some 12v LED's and a motion sensor under the bed rails. It wasn't until I actually got it half installed that I realized the power ports are not constantly powered. Huge problem since you would almost never have the truck "on" with the keys in the ignition while rummaging around in the bed. So I started looking for LED lights with their own power that can be charged via USB. When I saw these, I was really interested because they not only had the built-in USB chargeable battery I wanted, but they also had a motion sensor and magnetic mounting. So I installed USB charging ports in the access panel for the power port, and connected these lights to them. So while the truck is "on", the lights are being powered and charged by the truck, but thanks to their batteries, they still work when the truck is off. The magnetic mounts are perfect for easy installation (they hold even with his spray-on bed liner), and in the unlikely event the batteries don't get charged enough with regular driving, the lights can easily be taken in the house and topped off. And if he needs lighting anywhere else, he can just grab one or both and use them anywhere. They're nice and bright, but the diffused lens keeps them from blinding you so they can be out in the open (the ones I started to install had to be under the bed rails to prevent them from blinding you since they weren't diffused). Super useful product in a lot of ways, and the perfect solution to several problems I ran into trying to add lighting to the bed area.

Los pedí para colocar en la alacena de mi cocina, y alumbrar por las noches que la luz de la cocina es insuficiente, me ha resultado muy útil, le recargo la pila cada 2 semanas aproximadamente, tiene una entrada usb-c en un costado donde se conecta para recargar batería, y cuenta con un botón que regula si quieres que se encienda por sensor de cercanía o cuando detecte oscuridad, o que esté permanente encendido o apagado

I’m so happy with this purchase. Easy as heck to install.They have 3 modes. Night, perm on, and motion. My adult son who’s an electrician said don’t get the 8000k ones as they’d be too bright. So these in the photo are 3000k and they are plenty bright enough.I actually over ordered but I’m glad I did because they’d be useful in so many other places.Edit 4 days after receiving.Ok so I didn’t charge them when received because they were already bright. 4 days later they all needed charging. Was expecting a good week at least. They are all on auto. They take at least 3-4 hours to charge. I am going to try just using them as needed so I’ll have to turn them on manually each time. Hopefully that will make them last longer. A
Easy to set up and adequate lighting
We redid our closet and pantry and did not want to run wiring in either of these small areas so decided to try this option instead . We like the fact that they are motion activated. They are on long enough to get what we want , and the light goes off . We can snap them off the magnet base and simply recharge them when required and then snap them back up when they are charged . We have not had to do this yet . We are not sure how long the charge will last so I cannot comment on that . The lighting is adequate for these small areas of our home . They do have a couple of other settings as well as an off and on switch if preferred but that switch it is a very small. We are hoping that since the light is not on often the charge will last awhile . I do not anticipate charging to be an issue .
