Abuse, these in my work for several years and having the handles makes it 100 times better. Even if you’re used to using the old canvas belt or whatever you need to get this one, it makes the transfer so much more secure and the fact that the handles are in different locations on the belt and then heading into different directions, makes it even better

This product helps caregiver and pt. The handles around the belt provide a more secure, centralized lift assist. It seems to provide some added comfort for pt knowing caregiver(s) has a more secure grip and cuts down on the anxiety pt may feel about falling. Secure fit, easy to adjust and buckle. Easy to clean, quality material, good price.

Having to transfer my Mother-in-law in her last days, was difficult and challenging to move her safely and keep us safe. This belt is awesome and easy to use. It has several different grips to use in various situations. It helped us transfer her from sitting, to bed, to bathroom keeping her and I both safe. Thanks you!

1.0 out of 5 stars DO NOT BUY‼️ HANDLES RIP OFF & SO IS THIS PRODUCT IMPO
The media could not be loaded. Please NEVER, EVER try to support someone with this belt! Just for reference, I'm 4’11” and not a bodybuilder so I can’t apply that much force. My disabled brother is about the same size as I am so there's no good reason the first time I'm trying to get him off the floor to a crawl position two handles start to rip off with one of them completely detaching at one end. Also, I discovered the broken buckle when I went to film this. Good thing I wasn't using this to stop a fall on an average or above average sized person, just on a smaller person who doesn't fall frequently but once they do they need significant assistance to get up.

The handles are great to use. Not sure if I would keep this on the person like I would a normal gait belt because the release clip is very hard and uncomfortable on the back while sitting. I did not use this on my person that needed help lifting due to the extremely hard to press release pincher connector. I only used it on me so they could grab. I'm scared to put it on them and not be able to get it off. I could at least crawl out of it if I couldn't depress the clip. Our Occupational Therapist couldn't get the clip released. So I don't recommend this to anyone with sore hands or even slightly weak hands.

Purchase this to help maneuver my mother around worked really well, fit around her as a plus size woman. Decent quality we were very happy with it.
