5.0 out of 5 stars Work well
Have purchased these a couple time now and happy with the quality and price. Perforated and tear at seam well as they should. Thick and have never had one rip when used. I really like that they are compostable also. Would recommend
5.0 out of 5 stars no holes and sturdy!
I was concerned about holes as found in other poop bags, but this one has been great so far without any holes. Quality is excellent! I'm happy that these are compostable...surprisingly thicker than I anticipated. Will plan to purchase again!
5.0 out of 5 stars Gets the job done, better for our environment, just need to be gentle when using it
I like having the peace of mind that I am not contributing to the microplastic problem in our planet. The fact that it is made of only cornstarch is great. I thought it would be too good to be true, I hope the company is being 100% transparent about the material its made of. The material is thinner than plastic bags, so they can rip easily if you are in a rush and pull it hard to get a new bag to use (its happened to me). I`ve learned that to prevent ripping I have to use both hands to gently rip the bag I`m gonna use from the roll. I do not have long nails either, so its easier to prevent ripping too. The other con is that it is a bit more expensive than plastic bags. On the bright side, it is an eco-friendly/guilt-free option, bags do not smell like anything. Will continue to purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Off to a great start, after switching from another brand
I'm trying these after switching from Earth Rated Dog Poop bags (more on that later). So far, very good. The bags are large, big enough for our 84-pound golden retriever. They feel thin, but are holding up fine during our first uses. When I opened the very first roll, the first bag tore a little, but was still usable, and that should not happen again if I'm just a bit more careful when I start a roll. They also have nice "open here" arrows, which I appreciate because I was often trying to open the wrong end of poop bags during the nighttime walks. These bags also FEEL compostable! I had been using Earth Rated poop bags. They were good bags, but I then found out that they were just ordinary plastic bags. Yep, the "earth rated" name and green color fooled me. For about the same price -- if I buy the large size -- these Certified Compostbags bags seem to be just as good, and really are environmentally-friendly.
4.0 out of 5 stars Love an eco friendly poop bag…
These are great and eco friendly. Only reason I knocked a star off is because you can smell the poop through the bag so much more than through other bags and it stinks up the larger bins. I’ll keep buying eco friendly bags though. Yay the environment!
5.0 out of 5 stars Work like they should!
They're perfect for my needs. The bags can be harder to tear from each other compared to traditional bags but whatever, I feel good not using so much plastic.
5.0 out of 5 stars Forget plastic, these are good!
The media could not be loaded. I’ve been using these bags for a year and a half and they’re great! It feels so good not needing to buy plastic anymore for this single-use task! My dog is 53 pounds and I’ve never had a bag tear.A few tips:• Instead of trying to peel off the sticker at the beginning of the roll, just gently tear the sticker in half and leave the halves stuck on the bag.• When detaching a bag from the roll, don’t try to do it with gusto like when you rip off a plastic bag in the produce section. Do it gently and start from the middle, not the side. I place a finger in the center of the perforated line while holding it taut and then gently pull the bag off. Works just fine.• Moistening (licking) the fingers before gently rubbing the bag to open is essential, for me anyway. With my dry skin, I even have trouble turning pages in a book!None of this is difficult at all. Because the bags are soft and light, they’re really easy to tie into a knot! That’s a big plus! While it’s true that you can feel the contour of what you’re picking up since the bag material is incredibly thin, this is actually an advantage because you can be more precise. With the stiffer plastic bags, it happened many times that I couldn’t tell what I was doing in the dark and ended up squishing you-know-what into the grass in a big mess!A little gentle finesse will take you further, and being gentle with Earth will take us further as well, so I wholeheartedly recommend the Codirom bags!
3.0 out of 5 stars Hard to open
Love having a more eco friendly option for these bags than plastic. Plenty durable. Really liked the high contrast colors for seeing which side to open in the dark. But, you really need a ton of light to coax the bag open at all, and even then its super frustrating. Definitely not ideal for night walks.
Great bags!
These bags are easy to open, big and strong. I'm super happy that they are compostable and can go in our green bin for composting.
Good Quality
Good quality bags that don't tear and are easy to open. Best part, composting friendly! Unlike other bags I've ordered, these perform the best.
Great compostable bags!
I’ve tried a lot of compostable bags for our kitty little and these are great quality. They are large so you only need one bag. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a compostable option
Great product
We have been using these bags for a few years now, still think they are great. They are strong and make pick up easy. They don't often rip, which is awesome. Large enough to handle what our dogs dish out! Love the color too, makes them easy to spot on our return trip!
Bien
J’aime bien, mais il y avait 2 sacs de troués ce qui n’est pas pratique, car si on ne regarde pas on pourrais les utiliser et mettre nos mains dans le caca du chien.
