The VEVOR Retractable Extension Cord Reel is a very useful and functional product. I purchased the 65 foot, 12-gauge cord. I use this item a lot. I mounted it in my garage and the 65 ft gets me through my garage and out to the driveway. It is very helpful for plugging in all the items that I use to work on my cars. The three, 3 prong plugs at the end of the cord allow for multiple items to be plugged in at once. The reel is sturdy and a bit heavy. It is very well made. There are multiple mounting options in the directions, but I highly recommend mounting on to a wall stud if possible. I like that the entire reel swivels and can be pushed flat against the wall when not in use. The reeling mechanism works fairly well. Sometimes after pulling the cord out, you need to fiddle just a bit to get the cord mechanism to grab and hold the cord in place while extended. Not a big issue and doesn't lower my 5-star rating. Cord retraction is smooth and powerful. You have to give a few light tugs on the cord to get it to retract and you also need to hold the cord to guide it back to the reel, again because the rewind is fast and powerful. There is a stopping ball attached to the cord to hold the cord in place when it is fully retracted back into the reel. Nice feature. 5 stars all the way. A great addition to any garage or basement.

I’ve had my retractable extension cord for a couple weeks. It was easy to mount on a cinder block wall in my garage. I have used it several times and it is so convenient to just grab the end of the extension cord and pull it out to wherever I need in the front. When I’m done, just a slight tug on the cord it smoothly retracts which is great because I don’t have to manually recover and store the cord in my crowded garage. I usually have to look for an extension cord but now I know where it is! I can’t address longevity, but it appears to be well made. Based upon my limited experience with the extension cord and reel I would buy it again.

This works very well, the lighted end is nice to locate it if it's dark and also to tell you if the cord is live or not. I did have it stop retracting at one point after pulling 35' out, I believe it was all reeling up in one spot and the cord diameter exceeded the housing diameter and got stuck. I pulled it back out a bit and made sure it was spooling evenly and I haven't had that happen again.

My husband installed this from a rafter in his new building. He loves it. Works very well and he’s had nothing negative to say. He loves how handy it is. Very convenient and can be out of your way in seconds.

I like that it has a strong enough spring to pull it back without any issues. Easy to install. Easy to use.

Work but a bit finicky
I’ve mounted this in my garage, between the 2 garage door openers. The power is good, the 3 plugs at the end are handy. The ends are lit up and can easily be found in the dark, if that’s a need.If you don’t need the entire length of cord pulled out, it’s a little tricky. Often I just need about 12’ to get to my bench. But it’s pretty finicky to do this. It doesn’t want to lock in the out position. I have to pull it out several times before it’ll stay out.
Works great and the recoil action is amazing.
You need to pull the cord down straight out of the machine not on an angle.
