strong taste if you like skipjack ...obviously drain oil outside to avoid calories/mess ...The only issue is that "they" ship loose like eggs in huge box which breaks seal.How hard is it to keep clients happy by shipping properly???

I like this tuna in oil--you can use it for salad, on a sandwich or as a hot preparation (such as in pasta). Good quality. Beats the tuna in a can by a long shot.

We love RioMare and the product itself when arriving safely is wonderful. The problem is the poor packaging and poor handling by delivery. Ordered 8 of these and three got broken, oil leaked all over the box, outside the box on our front porch, and glass pieces are inside the box. Three of the 8 are cracked and we had to throw them so we don’t eat glass… until they get the packaging and delivery right, I would recommend getting these at an Italian market…

Great product, delicious and meaty, and not at all mealy like store bought canned tuna. The tuna is almost pink, not mushy grey like the American canned stuff.

Some how this jar was shaken vigorously and the filets were crumbled. It looks like ordinary tuna chunks.
