I like making myself a cup of hot chocolate before bed and it's awesome to get that extra protein and magnesium boost. It smells like regular hot chocolate and tastes good. It has a slightly weird aftertaste, but it is a protein drink and they are rather known for that. I'll still buy it again.

Overall the flavor is pretty good, my main issue is that it doesn't mix very well so you end up with clumps of powder. I've tried various methods of stirring/shaking and it always comes out grainy even after heating up.

I like this drink and highly recommend. Is this as good as regular hot chocolate? No. But it is definitely better than most low cal protein powders I’ve mixed with water. Maybe it helps that it’s hot? I really enjoy this after a late evening run. I use the 2 scoops the package recommends but I find I like it better if I make them a bit heaping. To avoid clumping, pour the powder in slowly and stir while doing so. I’m on my second jar and I recommend it to all my late night procrastinator running friends.
