5.0 out of 5 stars As my friend Bruce says, "works in the USA."
To download Huawei Health in the US. 1. Scan the QR code on the box and you'll be greeted by the blank screen in picture one. But never fear my intrepid friends just click on the back arrow and you'll be greeted by screen two. On screen two, click on the download arrow in the top left corner and download the Huawei app gallery. Once that is installed open it and search for the Huawei health app and, when found, install. I had to use my US phone number to verify so I am stuck with the base watch faces, can't use Google maps and I don't have the community options. For someone coming from a Garmin Fenix 5, this is a great smartwatch. The main draw for me was the purported accuracy of the optical HR sensor. After testing I found the Fit 2 SIGNIFICANTLY better than the Garmin. I have compared the data on an indoor bike ride and an outside hike and found this watch to be within 1-2% accuracy of my Garmin paired with Polar H10 chest strap. The Garmin is useless for HR accuracy without the chest strap. Due to current health issues, I have not done a lifting workout but will update the review when I do.The display is very clear and easy to see even in bright sunlight (I use the auto brightness setting; watch has a max brightness of 1k nits). GPS accuracy is decent (about the same as the Garmin 5) but the displayed maps are dark. O2 reading were usually in within 1-2% of finger pulse ox (so good). HR resting numbers were overall the same as Garmin but the numbers from the Fit 2 were more consistent (didn't have as many outliers). I like the stress reading and feel, with the upgraded optical HR sensor, these are more accurate than Garmin's equivalent. For sleep tracking, I found the watch good as I look more at total time sleeping, subjective feelings and then look at stress and resting HR numbers when sleeping to determine sleep quality. On the software front, the Huawei Health app is ok but I prefer Garmin's. Battery life for me was 5-6 days and this was with the AOD turned off (all health monitoring is on except the stand up reminder). I paired it with my Pixel 6 phone and it displays texts and notifications. You can only answer texts with simple emojis or a canned response. As long as you're in Bluetooth range of your phone, you can answer calls with your watch (watch has mic and speakers) and this works pretty well. You can also store 10 contact favorites in your watch and call them using your watch. I attempted to share my Huawei data with Google Fit using health sync but couldn't get it to work but I really didn't try to hard so maybe there's a workaround.Overall, it's great watch and meets all my current needs. I am very happy with the purchase and would recommend strongly.Pros:+ Optical HR Accuracy+ Pulse Ox meter+ Display+ Intuitive watch software+ Decent built in GPS (Garmin is better here)+ Good battery lifeCons:- Limited connectivity (In the US, can't send data to Strava or Google Fit)- Huawei Health app is ok at best- Limited Watch Faces (In the US)- No Google Maps integration (don't like PetalMaps)

5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful...
Huawei fit bands are awesome. The band design on the two previous versions rendered them difficult to attach but are tremendously improved on this version. The screen is larger, more watch faces can be stored on the device, answer and talk on the phone right from the watch (which is so awesome!), create amd use a limited number of text replies on the device, the exercise settings are plentiful and they talk to you! I am more than happy with this fit watch.
5.0 out of 5 stars Can't be used in the United States
I don't know why they are still not for in the United States. I have the original Fit watch, I absolutely love everything about it. Except you can make or receive calls. So I was so excited about the Fit 2 I get the watch go to set it up, there is no United States! I go to the play store, there is NO Huawei health store app anymore! I follow the instructions to download their specific app, ( scan the code on your box) there is no United States! It really is terrible 😔 such a brilliant beautiful watch! Not for in the United States.
1.0 out of 5 stars Don't buy Huawei!!!!!
This has been a nightmare. Huawei (in China) does not support its products in the United States. It was a nightmare to install the Health app a year ago, and nightmare to connect the watch to my phone, After going through A LOT of hoops, I finally got it connected. The watch works fine. I've had it for one year but I dropped my phone and had to get a new one. The nightmare begun all over again with the difference that the Health app does not support this watch anymore!!!!!!! There's no way to connect it to my phone anymore. There are many brands out there. DON'T BUY HUAWEI!!!!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works in the US
An earlier reviewer stated that they are unable so select US when setting up the watch after loading the Huawei App Store and the Health App. Simply select UK or something else, and voila. It works. I have been using this watch for 6 months here in the US and absolutely love it. My only hang up is that text responses sent from the watch are unreliable (they often go to the wrong contact for some reason). I don't find it to be a big deal. GPS is accurate. Heart rate is incredibly accurate, much better than Garmin during high intensity workouts with rapid changes in heart rate. I have had zero issues with the watch or the app.
