Honestly, just here to clarify that it ABSOLUTELY DOES fit the G3 player. I just put it on mine with no issues at all. The openings are a little small, so a fingernail to press the buttons helps, but any bigger opening or thinner case and you would lose some of the protection factor. It does cover the sd card slot with no opening but I will probably never remove that and if I do need to, it's not so hard to peel back the case to do so. Pair this with their glass screen protector (which is awesome in itself) and you have a good solid protection case for your player. Recommend!

I specifically purchased this for the companion device listed, which not to find that the holes and buttons on the case don’t match up with the device. The case is easy to get on and off and does seem to provide a little protection due to the rubbery feel and lip on the front, but it’s definitely loose. It’s obviously not made specifically for the product listed, although it is the closest match I’ve found so far.

I have an older phone that has battery issues so can not do much on it before I have to recharge it. I decided to give this MP3 player a try even though some of the reviews said you could not do podcasts on it. My main goal was to find something to broadcast podcasts. I discovered you can get a free membership to Spotify and get many podcasts as your favorites and they download on a regular basis. There is a sleep timer on the Spotify app. Learning to operate it has been challenging, but doable. My other goal was listening to books and discovered I can not only do Audible but also Libby. You can download your books for when you are not on WiFi. When on WiFi they have Chrome app so you can listen to You Tube and the like. Battery last a really long time. The big plus is it has an FM radio that picks up great. You must use wired earpods as an antennae, but you can just plug in the earpods for the antennae and use your bluetooth device to listen at the same time. Love this little device. I would recommend it and wouldn't change a thing. I bought a case in the event I dropped it. All is good.

Media player is loose in the case and it does not protect well. Dropped it once onto carpet, screen side up, and the screen cracked.

I bought this case with the suggested mp3 player for my eight year old son’s bday. But the buttons cover didn’t match up so the player kept tuning off. Even the aux cable and earphone openings were opposite what they should have been. Do not buy this it’s a waste of time and money.
So fit and protects it
Aboslutely buy this case if you have the mp3 as it wont come with any case.

This is a perfect fit for the device it's intended for. It's completely transparent, but holds paint (eg, acrylic paint pens, such as Posca) very well, allowing creative kids to design it as they wish!It also holds the pop-its well, too. It hasn't come detached from the case, despite frequent use.It seems sturdy and with the mp3 player having been dropped several times, including on a concrete path outdoors, it's has protected the mp3 player impeccably.Delighted with this, and for such a great price to boot.
