Very nice jars. They were just the right size. I changed how I store everything in my cabinets. These jars worked out very well. They're very heavy and of good quality. And they seal very tightly. The extra pieces to seal them closed when the others wear out was an awesome surprise. As well as the labels. I recommend these to everyone. And I would purchase again. Thank you so much. After reading article after article about plastic I decided to change my ways. I bought these glass containers for my pantry. I didn’t throw out the plastic ones, I donated them because I know not everyone is plastic adverse, it’s my own personal neurosis.I live in California and was in a notable earthquake. Everything that could break did. There was cooking oil covered in flour on the floor with broken glasses and dishes mixed in. It was a huge cleanup task. When I bought new glasses they were plastic.Now I’m going back to glass. These containers are well made, airtight and very attractive. Heavier than plastic, but I see that as a way to get stronger. Yes in this day and age micro plastics are a fact of life, but now when I reach for the flour, or other things in my pantry, I don’t have to worry about adding more to my family’s bodies. And my pantry sparked.

50 oz. Measures 8" high by slightly over 4" square.I love the squared off sides as it stores better. Round glass containers are cabinet and refrigerator/freezer/pantry space wasters, just common sense. I will be chucking them all out now that I found these and other square, airtight glass storage pieces. I have 70's Maple cabinets and the storage / shelf space is narrow and short so this airtight jar size makes maximum use of space for me. Very good quality, surprisingly. Sturdy glass, the wire bail is sturdy as well and I included a photo so you can see it is not some cheap, bendable thin wire. The lid is super tight when clamped down, nice pop of the seal when you open, just watch your fingers. Extra seals and chalkboard labels are included. The firm foam packaging is excellent and they arrived safely. I prefer to just use a permanent marker to label the jars with contents and expiration date. The chalkboard labels are hard to clean with soap, alcohol, etc. to change text. Writing on the glass works better, and cleans right off with alcohol to easily relabel as needed. Gives me more area to write anything - even write out a recipe for quick reference right on the glass for the contents, if I want. These are slightly pricey, I'd expect a 4 pack in this price range. Otherwise great quality jars and I definitely recommend.

The glass is sturdy and the lid closes securely. I've bought more than one set over time. Priced well and great for keeping pasta, rice, oatmeal, etc. stored in the kitchen pantry or cabinets.You could use for flour or sugar but the opening isn't quite wide enough to allow access for the larger measuring cup. But after saying that, I do use one for brown sugar. I have one of those brown sugar keepers in it so the brown sugar stays soft and ready to use. The half cup sized measuring cup works for scooping out the amount that I need.

Quality Glass Storage Containers
These containers are made well! The square openings provide easy access. The lids have both a secure metal clasp and silicone seals to keep items fresh. Bonus feature is the extra seals provided. Although I store only dry goods in them, the silicone seal and clasp appears strongly secure for liquids also. Highly Recommend!
