I’ve tried so many tinted sunscreens. I have a neutral undertone and this is the first mineral tinted sunscreen that doesn’t make me look yellow. I cannot stress enough how glad I am to have tried the light tint. I hope Neutrogena continues to make this. I’m concerned since it’s not available at Walgreens or Walmart. Feels thick going on and is a little sticky once on but that’s not different from most sunscreens and it looks great so I don’t mind. 10/10

My first concern any time I use a new product on my skin is my sensitivity. My skin loves to complain. I usually avoid regular drugstore type products like this because they tend to emphasize price over quality. I need both quality and value. Each time I try a new product I must test my skin to first see if I am allergic and second to see if it causes my skin to breakout or flake. Amazingly, this Neutrogena Mineral UV Tint Face Liquid passed that very large hurdle. My skin did not complain at all. Next I looked at coverage, color, and how long it lasts without reapplication. Again, I was pleased with the results. These days everyone is also concerned with value. I thought this was a bit pricey for the volume of applications in the tube, and considering this is a lower-end drugstore marketed product. I found it on sale, but the regular price is too high for the product value. If it were less expensive or contained larger volume of product, it would have rated 5 stars. I hope they take this advice so this can become a regularly used product on more shelves.

I picked this up based on a recommendation from DrDray on YouTube. I loved that she swatched all the colors and I thought Medium Deep would be the best one for me. That’s what I’m wearing in the photo. Black girl/brown girl approved!This is now one of my favorite sunscreens! I prefer tinted mineral formulas but sometimes it’s a challenge to find one with a shade that fits me and that is also water/sweat resistant (80 minutes), and also affordable. This one is perfect, it checks all the boxes! This doesn’t burn my eyes or cause blurry vision, doesn’t irritate my oily skin. My sister has dry sensitive skin and also likes this. This has a skin-like finish. Might be slightly shiny but that’s normal to me. I like to use a fan to help it dry down more. Consistency is very thin/kind of runny and spreads easily. Formula is comfortable and doesn’t feel drying. Reapplying is a breeze but have to be careful to not get it on clothes. I keep wipes in the car to wipe off my fingers. The coverage is very sheer, not like Colorscience Flex which has more coverage and a much higher price (but I also love). This doesn’t cover imperfections/dark marks but it does even out skin tone. Some of my foundation colors in case it helps you with choosing a shade: Armani 7.8, ELDW Honey Bronze, KVD 063, MUFE 3N42, Haus Labs 330, Dior 4N, Nars Aruba. I use Tan in Colorscience Flex.The only thing I would change about this product is the packaging because it can get a little messy. I wish the opening of the tube was smaller, more tapered. I’m still giving this 5 stars anyway. I’ve gotten this on my clothes (white shirts) but has not left any stains; I always treat with Oxi Clean Max Force stain remover on the same day. Washes out completely, no staining, no trace.I also picked up Deep just in case, but it’s too dark. My guess is that it’s best for people with skin tone MAC NC45 and up. However, DrDray mentioned this is a good option for those who like to use self tanner and want the face to match the fake tan. I wouldn’t use this on arms or legs because it will transfer to clothing or other fabric. Also, I realized the reason the Deep shade was priced much lower is because it expires in August 2024 and I bought it June 2024! I’m stuck with it because I don’t want to pay to return it.Either way, the colors are very sheer and natural looking; not too orange, pink or chalky. At least that’s my opinion. Makeup artists say I have an olive skin tone. This totally works for me!

The color was fine. I am between the light and medium shades but find it better to go slightly darker. It is smooth to go on and only a little greasy. I believe it works as sun protection but I do always wear a hat also. Unfortunately it leaks out and around the top and a real mess all down the tube if you have any heat round - which is usual when you are wearing sunscreen. So store in fridge when warm inside and best not to take it out with you in bag, in car, to beach etc. If you do - package Very well.

I use this daily and it’s so great. I don’t use any foundation now. I use some concealer under my eyes and putting this on first helps it blend it so well. Hasn’t caused any breakouts which I do have sensitive skin. It also gives you a nice and moisturized glow all day.

Package arrived intact and no leakage. Upon using first time, the mineral tint matched my skin nicely which is medium. After using, placed cap back on for tomorrow. I like the fact that the product stands up and all the liquid comes down. Next day, opened cap and liquid was all over the bottom of the cap. Went ahead and applied sunscreen again - and it plays nicely with other skincare products. This time, instead of returning the bottle to the upright position, and in hopes that no liquid would come out, went ahead and placed the bottle in a glass, and upside down. Next day, went to apply sunscreen again, and this time liquid fell down the sides of the bottle. Seems that the liquid that was sitting in the cap, then leaked down the sides. So frustrating, because I was really enjoying using this sunscreen. However, now just seems to be a mess with the sunscreen seeping out. That is the reason for the 2 stars.

Love this product.
I've been looking for a tinted sunscreen for everyday use. I like this product as it's fragrance-free and doesn't cause skin outbreaks. It is a little watery compared to normal sunscreens, but it's easy to apply. This is not a liquid foundation or a concealer, but it seems to help to tone the skin a little more evenly, because of the tint. It's ideal to use prior to applying foundations.
Good for dry skin too shiny for oily skin
Nice product and it IS water resistant. it's too expensive for size 30 ML , I would have loved it if the size would have been 50ml for the same price , which is also same for neutrogena sheer zinc face( white cast but absolutely amazing protection) I have severe melasma but man that sunscreen works , yeah I am all white in gym but I am all glowy at evening as well. Now back to this one I had HIGH HOPES but 1. It's of same price as color science when you do the math size wise because it's just 30 ML and color science is better option in that regardz2. It's quite shiny and oily for oily skin type may be good for dry skin . For dry skin CeraVe tinted might be better option because it's more hydrating but this is more water resistant.I request neutrogena to add tint to the sheer zinc face so that all oily skins out there can use it as our daily sunscreen.
