Update April 2021:Cleaned the tank yesterday, and today after I refilled it I noticed there were some cracks in the clear part of the tank and when I went to put it back on the base, it was leaking where the clear part meets the black tank bottom. Called customer service and they took my information and started a help-email (so just email them from the start). They asked for some pictures of the problem, a screenshot of my purchase invoice, and for my shipping address. After I sent that in, they replied saying they’re sending me a new unit! Start to finish it took about 4 hours to get a resolution.Original Review:My first humidifier was an ultrasonic penguin shaped model marketed for kids, no bells or whistles at all. It finally died after 10 years and this was the replacement. This one is sleek, modern, and the styling fits our adult home much better. It also is a lot quieter!Pros:• Stylish - visually disappears into room.• Quickly increases/maintains RH% in our 1,100sqft home.• Large reservoir!• Very quiet - warm mist feature is louder but still fine.• Target RH% option is fantastic.• Display can be turned off while running.• Remembers the last setting when turned off and on again.• Six different levels of mist output (1-3 cool + 1-3 warm).Cons:• Removable nozzle piece is a little annoying to remove - if you don’t have finger nails you may struggle.• Mist output doesn’t have a lot of oomph behind it so it doesn’t go far on its own - we have ours under a ceiling fan to help disperse the vapor.Eh 🤷🏻♀️:• Remote - no use for us.• Power cord could be a little longer.• Dual direction nozzles don’t improve function, mostly for looks/fun.• Auto feature is ok - sometimes doesn’t turn back on when % drops below listed threshold.• Essential oil drawer - tried it once, it was underwhelming.Notes:We use the warm mist function as a booster when we want to increase the humidity quickly. It really helps during Santa Anna conditions when outdoor RH is <10%.Cool mist output = 250ml/hr maxCool + Warm = 500ml/hr maxWe have VERY VERY hard water. If we use tap water in a humidifier the air gets visibly foggy/hazy from the suspended minerals in the air, so we use our reverse osmosis system to fill the tank.
5.0 out of 5 stars A fantastic product, worth every penny
2-3 years ago wife and I bought a humidifier, which kicked the bucket during last spring. I fixed it myself by building my own power supply for it. However, it decided to kick the bucket again for another reason in mid December. Not being from the midwest, or the US, I struggle a lot with the dry air in the winter and so not having a humidifier was not an option. We spent a week coming up with products on Bolo, but we never settled on any. On a whim, I purchased this one and got it next day (I'm a Prime member). I had stocked up on distilled water for this little guy prior to it arriving, so we could get it set up and running as soon as it came in.Opening the package I was impressed, the product was very well packaged and came with a buttload of instructions and filters for essential oils (which we wont use). Set up took about 5 minutes, it's pretty basic stuff. It took 1 and a half gallons of distilled water to fill it to the brim. From full, it takes about 4 days or so to go through that much water. Yet, it still puts out a good thick amount of mist. Astonishing to me, we were refilling the old humidifier daily. This one is much easier to fill too. What I like though, is just how sleek this thing looks on our dresser. It fits right in with everything else. We've had no leaking or dripping that other reviewers have had, it's very quiet too. The display can be turned off pretty easily if it's too bright for you at night. There is no filter for the water like some other models, which I knew when I bought it. So you really should use distilled water for this or you could have issues with calcium build up or white dust/flakes using regular tap water. For me personally, I definitely have noticed a drastic improvement in air quality in the bedroom. With the output on this thing though, it's definitely suitable for a larger room such as a living room. We just use it in the bedroom, as we were waking up with dry mouths and noses. If you're on the fence about this product, it has my stamp of approval. I've included a photo to show the size of the product. Be aware, you should provide some space to the rear, and left of the product as it vents air from there - which is why we have a little space besides our unit.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good medium sized room humidifier
Not sure I trust the humidity reading. Seems to be on high side. I do like functionality and auto mode. Good capacity. I think I refill about once every 3 days. Very quiet. Like being able to turn off bright display at night. I would have given 5 stars if the accuracy was better. If I recall, when I first plugged it in it read nearly 45% humidity. My downstairs thermostat said it was only 20%. Being dry a$$ Colorado and new build home, I trust the thermostat reading.
Reliable and Effective - A Solid Humidifier Choice
This humidifier has been a reliable addition to my home. Its sleek design seamlessly fits into any room, and setup was a breeze with clear instructions. The cool and warm mist options make it versatile, and the quiet operation is a plus. The smart functionality adds convenience, and the water purification system ensures clean air. Cleaning and maintenance are straightforward. Overall, it's a solid humidifier choice for anyone looking to improve their indoor air quality. I use it to keep my guitars humified and it also helps my skin in winter time when it gets really dry indoors.
Funktioniert super gut
Einwandfrei....
