5.0 out of 5 stars Great!
This is very comfortable for a seat cushion. Could be 1” wider but I turned it 90 degrees and that made enough material to provide cushion.
5.0 out of 5 stars Build your own gel seat.
Pull the cover off, cut an indentation in the foam, insert the gel pad pad, reattach the cover and ride longer.
1.0 out of 5 stars Too sticky
Hard to work with and smells in heat
2.0 out of 5 stars Sticky and hard to use
When you cut this stuff it’s more like slime than gel. It sticks to everything and stains. I left the scrap in the sun and it started to liquify. Had to reopen my seat and seal the gel in plastic to be safe.
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfort
Not as comfortable as I thought it would be...
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice
Much needed upgrade to seat
2.0 out of 5 stars Melts in hot weather. Enjoy the difficult cleanup.
So I bought this as extra padding for my motorcycle seat, to go between the seat and its stay-dry rain cover. I trimmed the gel pad to fit completely under the cover. This worked fine for the cooler months. But a month ago, when temps reached into the 90s--then the 100s--the gel began melting down the side of the seat, dripping into the bike's frame, into some of the electronics, over some panels, and even made a small puddle on the ground. Knowing how sticky this thing is, I didn't look forward to the cleanup. After searching the web, and trying the compressed air can method for cleanup, I found that rubbing (isopropyl) alcohol cleaned it up more easily, but I did have to wipe each area a couple of times and use a toothbrush to get at the seat's seams. Also, when you first get the pad, it's difficult trying to peel off the protective film because it's so thin, it tears easily. As strictly a pad, it worked fine. Just keep it indoors or outside in a roasting pan to catch the drips.
1.0 out of 5 stars Trash don't buy. 2hrs to peel plastic off.
Took me 2 hrs to peel the plastic off.
