Solid multi-use roasting pan. HexClad products are a little pricey, but they're the best I've owned out of 3-4 different brands and the cost is worth the quality, in my opinion. I use the large pan all the time and the heat is balanced throughout, it cooks evenly, and it's legitimately easy to clean. Even the post-sear gunk and leftovers just wash off like it's no problem when other pans require scraping and scrubbing. The roasting pan is no different. Cooked a small ~8lb turkey for the holiday with my family and it worked perfectly, cleaned up with zero effort.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very expensive for good reason
The media could not be loaded. My wife had just purchased what appeared to be an excellent roasting pan. It was heavy and had excellent handles. We assumed that it would do the job as well any pan could. So she cooked a ham in it. The ham stuck to the pan. The bottom of the pan had burnt matter and a thin ugly stain covering the entire surface. I attempted to clean the pan. With lots of effort I was able to get most (but not all) of the burnt stuff off. The stain, however, was highly resistant. Finally I poured a very powerful cleaner in that pan, set it on stove top burners, and when it was bubbling I attacked it with a plastic scraper. Vigorous scraping began to remove the light stain in small flakes but very slowly. I realized that at this rate I had several hours more cleaning ahead of me using this "heroic" and very tiring method before I'd get most of the stain off. That's when I came to the conclusion that the pan was headed for the trash. There had to be a better one available somewhere in the world.Since I already owned a Hexclad frying pan, I checked to see if Hexclad made a roasting pan. They did. After looking on Bolo I saw that the Hexclad roasting pan was the most expensive by a long shot of all such pans listed. But I figured there must be good reason for the price and ordered it.Last night my wife cooked a pork loin along with potatoes, cabbage, and carrots. She said that they came out perfect. The meat was tender, seared but not burnt. The vegetables came out just right carmelized on the bottoms. It was the most perfect roasting she had ever experienced. Plus, she just plain loves the look of the pan.Now for clean up. Please watch the video and you will see that it was easy peasy. One light swipe with a Dobie pad removed 95% of everything. One more swipe with a few seconds of swirling removed three small spots of burnt on meat. That was it. It was perfectly clean. Couldn't have been any easier. If you're tired of pans that burn food and leave behind hardened, ugly stains that can never be removed even with vigorous scrubbing, this is the pan for you. Not only will you not regret the money spent, you will be delighted at the permanent beauty of the pan.
5.0 out of 5 stars Sturdy large roaster
Purchased roaster for Thanksgiving. I was pleasantly surprised how sturdy the roaster was and how well it was made. It easily held a 26 pound turkey and roasted it beautifully. Clean up of the pan was a breeze! I have no idea why I didn't buy this roaster years ago! Comes in a beautiful velvet storage case. If you need a large, sturdy roaster, I would encourage you to purchase this roaster. It is amazing!
5.0 out of 5 stars Hefty yet ideal
We got tired of often expensive cookware wearing out in a few short years. Did the research and went with Hexclad. Though more costly they a far more useful and durable. Beware that they are heavy too. This is easily the heaviest roaster I’ve ever owned. But it is a joy to use all of the Hexclad pans. The roaster is large and deep enough for the biggest cuts and turkeys too. Plus it has a lip that allows for foil to tent the entire project. You should make certain your oven is large enough for this beast. Cleans easily. Happy to own one of these.
5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful roasting pan
I have a set of hex clad cook wear. It is the best pot and pans I have ever owned. Mine are over a year old and used heavily. I have wanted this roast pan and finally bought during prime days. I love it. Works just like my full set of pot and pans i have from hex clad. Already made a pork roast and turned out marvelous. I'm have also used to make eggplant parmesan and it was so easy to serve and clean. I know hex clad are a bit pricey but you are getting much more than you are paying for. Their products are well worth the cost. I would recommend this to everyone and will keep on purchasing other hex clad products.
5.0 out of 5 stars Why was I wasting my time before?
I had the same crappy roasting pan for like 20 years. Everyone hated using it, it was a pain to clean, it rusted, and it kept us from roasting things even when it sounded good. My wife finally got sick of it and asked for a new roasting pan for Xmas. Looking at prices, I could either get basically the same thing we had for $50, or this for like $150 (it was admittedly on sale.) I feel like I should have bought one this nice 20 years ago and not wasted my time. I don't know that I'll ever buy another one. It's easy to clean, super sturdy, heats evenly, I get usable drippings out of the bottom instead of a burned mess, it's great spend the extra money.
5.0 out of 5 stars The absolute best
Is it slightly pricey, yes but it is well well worth the money. These cook evenly and non-stick. Love these things
5.0 out of 5 stars Best non-stick pans ever!
I've had these pans for almost a year now and I absolutely love them 💕 Almost no sticking at all and if there is any, it's easily cleaned off 😀 They still look like new! I've used T-fal and Calphalon - they are worthless compared to Hexclad hybrid. The pans are expensive but worth every dollar.
Good Product
This is a really good product, we have the pots and pans too.
Super Teil!
Shame I had to return
Omg when I opened this I was so it excited. Talk about a quality roaster. To my disappointment it was too big for my oven so had to return. Remember it has handles which I didn't take in to consideration while measuring.
Who Doesn't Love HexClad?
I have many pots, pans, knives and cutting boards from HexClad and love them all! This roaster is just as well-built and easy to clean as all the rest of HexClad's products. Don't only use this for a roasting pan - put it on top of your stove for frying big stuff, making bacon and eggs, making a big soup, etc., the possibilities are endless. Use it for when you need a bigger pan with higher sides! Get the most out of this pan, you won't be sorry!
