When you buy this pillow, the manufacturer recommends using it for two weeks to get used to it. I waited that long to post my review. This is a really great pillow. Life-changing, actually. I was struggling with neck and shoulder issues that have lasted for months, and I needed relief. I decided to try out this pillow, and it has had a really positive impact on a number of things. First, my shoulder and neck are healing -- first the shoulder, and then my neck. Also, my husband says that I am sleeping quietly and not moving around much, which used to drive him nuts. I would thrash around and be loud in my sleep, but now I am still and quiet, so he's happy about that. I am waking up more rested.Importantly, this is not a "comfortable" pillow in the traditional sense. I was used to the fluffy pillows. And it's not that this isn't comfortable, but it's different and takes some getting used to. Now that I'm a couple weeks in, I do find it comfortable, and when I lay on a regular pillow I can feel how my neck is unsupported and "dips" so that my airway is more constricted and my muscles are strained. I'm really glad I gave this a try. Five stars.

This pillow has truly changed my life. I had been struggling with neck and shoulder pain for months, and this pillow brought relief I didn’t expect.What convinced me to try this pillow was when my child broke their clavicle. Watching them struggle to find a comfortable position to sleep during recovery made me realize how important proper support is. I decided to try the pillow myself, hoping it would help with my pain. And it did — first my shoulder started healing, then my neck.I also noticed something amazing after watching myself on camera while I sleep. I used to toss and turn all night, moving restlessly. Now I sleep still and quietly. It’s a huge improvement, and I wake up feeling much more rested.It’s important to note that I no longer sleep on regular pillows. Before this, I used to roll towels to support my neck. This pillow isn’t “comfortable” in the traditional fluffy sense. At first, it feels different, but after just a couple of days, I could feel the incredible support. When I try sleeping on a regular pillow now, I feel how my neck dips, which compresses my airway and strains my muscles. This pillow keeps my neck properly aligned, and that makes all the difference.I’m really happy I bought this pillow! Definitely 5 stars!

My husband and I have struggled for a long time to find totally comfortable pillows. Ordinary pillows (we’ve tried many) seem to inevitably squish down, leaving the neck unsupported. We’ve tried rounded foam pillows, and my husband tried a wedge pillow to elevate his head to help with his sleep apnea. None of these worked very well. Feeling we had nothing to lose, we decided to try this ultra pain relief cooling pillow. Amazing! Total surprise! I no longer wake up every day with a stiff and/or aching neck and shoulders. The bottom edge manages to support the neck, while the “bowl” shape in the middle of the pillow supports the head all night, so a muscle-tensing gap between the neck, head, and shoulders doesn’t develop while sleeping. I also like how the sides provide additional support for the head, by cupping the face when I sleep on either my back or side. I liked this pillow so much at home immediately upon using it that I bought one for our bed at our summer cottage. Now that my husband has tested his for a longer period and, with his specific issues, also loves it, I’ll be buying him one for the cottage, too. He and I agree this is the BEST pillow we’ve ever used. The pillow slides easily into a standard pillowcase, which helps to keep it clean.

Not really worth it
It was too high for me and, unlike identical ones or copies for a little over $30 on Temu, there is no way to remove a layer to adjust the height. Also, no fitted pillow casies? It's not that nice next to your face.Mine has gone to the bin.
