5.0 out of 5 stars OUTSTANDING SUCTION AND BATTERY POWER!
I bought my first Dyson DC16 over 15 years ago and still use it to this day! In the early days, their cordless vacs were functionally great but lacked decent battery runtime. Recently, I decided it was time to pull the trigger on a new cordless vac but couldn't bring myself to spend the money for a Dyson. I went with the BuTure 450W 33KPA unit to save some money. It was a great little unit but seemed lacking in the power and battery life department. I finally decided to cough up the cash for a Dyson. This gave me a unique insight into the pros and cons of going cheap vs going Dyson. Here's the breakdown:Dyson V11 Pros:1. Outstanding suction power and brush head performance2. Excellent battery life3. Great build quality4. Easy charging setup integrated into wall mountDyson V11 Cons:1. Trigger pull operation can be tiring and uncomfortable2. Expensive3. No front facing light on brush headButure Pros:1. Much cheaper than Dyson2. No need to hold a trigger down for operation3. Nice bright headlight on brush headButure Cons:1. Suction is good but not great2. Battery life is decent but tapers off quickly reducing power3. Build quality is not as solid, brush head sort of flops around4. Charging is less convenient, as you have to manually plug it in to chargeBottom line:The Dyson V11 is amazing! The suction is incredible, rivaling some plugin models. The Brush head is aggressive and great at pulling pet hair off carpet. The trigger pull operation can be uncomfortable after a while, ironically highlighted by the extremely long battery life. I only wish Dyson would have put a forward-facing light on the brush head. Buture and others like it are great alternatives if you can’t spend the money for the Dyson, but they don’t quite measure up in performance and quality. In some cases though, they do have better features like no trigger hold and cool headlights. Overall, the Dyson is the clear winner for functionality and quality. If you can part with the extra cash, definitely go with the Dyson.

Light-weight, powerful, great battery life, easy to dump canister and keep clean. What an outstanding product. Very light and easy to push and vacuum. Amazing how much dirt/ debris it sucks out of my carpet. Very easy to dump the canister (quick disconnect and plunge-dump). Keeping unit clean is a very easy process. Love the battery % screen with 3 different power settings. No issues with the trigger squeeze (which has to be held to run the vac) and likely saves a bit of battery power. Can be used with one hand on short carpet pile (long/ thick pile may need two hands). Good charger and wall mount if needed. Great accessories! Very nicely packaged (well engineered). I'm very pleased.... You get what you pay for.

Purchased December 2023, for about $400 through Bolo (Dyson's website had the same holiday price). I didn't initially want to spend this much money on a vacuum but we have little kids, and use the vacuum a lot, so I'm glad we got a quality vacuum that works for us. Totally worth it!We did a lot of research and finally landed on the Dyson V11 Cordless Stick Vaccum. We previously had a stand up Shark pet pro vacuum but this blows that out of the water!! We vacuumed areas that have been previously vacuumed with the other vacuum but the dyson picked up SO MUCH DUST/DIRT! Where was all that dirt hiding??! 👀 The vacuum has a little weight to it, but even with a fractured arm, I'm still able to maneuver it a little awkwardly with a bit of extra support. Be aware that you have to hold the power button down the entire time while you vacuum- there is no just "on" switch. This is to conserve battery life. As soon as you finger comes off the trigger, power goes off. The switch doesn't require tons of pressure so I'm not sure why people are complaining about their hands hurting from holding the button. 🤷🏼♀️ My nearly 4 year old can hold the vacuum, power button down and maneuver it on his own (not as fast or agile as an adult, but by himself nonetheless)- if that gives you an idea for weight. The suction is powerful and has several levels to pick from that affect the battery life (which will show you on a digital display how much run time you have based on the level of suction power you select) , emptying the dustbin is easy. And with the vacuum being cordless my husband is even excited to vacuum now! If you're on the fence- spend the money, make your life a little easier and get something quality that will do a great job cleaning and last a long time.

I was hesitant to spend this much money on a vacuum, much less a cordless one. But let me tell you this thing is worth it. I have had it about two months and use it regularly. The ease of having it turn on at the press of the button makes it so much easier to grab it and vacuum an area instead of pulling out a cord and plugging it in somewhere. I was worried about running out of battery when I was using it but that has not been an issue. It is so versatile with being able to convert it into a handheld vacuum makes it work amazingly to do stairs.

Lives up to the hype
Have a German Shepard that sheds enough hair you'd think I have 10 dogs so when the dyson arrived I vacuumed with the old vacuum while it was charging which picked up alot, went over everything again with the dyson and had to empty the canister 6+ times packed with hair and lots of fine dust and that was just on med setting. Going cordless made cleaning a large sectional with the hair screw attachment a breeze. So far quite impressed with its functionality, ease of movement, quick attachment swaps, battery life is great on eco, med is 30-40 mins more than enough to get threw 4 rooms, boost mode will prob be used for the spring dog shed more than anything. Cleaning our cars will be much simpler with this lil powerhouse

Una maravilla
Es mi primer aspiradora que adquiero, después de haber pensado mucho en hacerme de una y de haber investigado sobre diferentes modelos y marcas, está dayson 11 fue la que me convenció y estoy encantada con ella, mis pisos permanecen más tiempo limpios que cuando los limpiaba con la escoba. Ahora después de aspirar los, solo paso el trapeador húmedo por ellos y listo.Ha sido una inversión muy grande la que he echo, pero vale la pena cada céntimo que he pagado por ella, bueno... que estoy pagando porque la compré con la tarjeta de crédito con mensualidades comodisimas, así es que por eso y por todo lo demás estoy muy muy feliz por que mi dayson vino a facilitar mi vida.
Es una verdadera maravilla!
Es súper potente, es fácil de usar, con la batería completa dura exactamente 1 hora trabajando lo cual se me hace justo porque en verdad es muy potente y deja todo súper limpio, quizá un poco pesada pero bastante manejable. Me gustaría que la batería cargara más rápido pero la verdad es una muy buena inversión, yo la recomiendo porque elimina por completo la necesidad de barrer y si el suelo no tiene manchas hasta de trapear también! Deja el piso impecable y las paredes sin telarañas, el sofá y los tapetes los deja súper bien sin tantas pasadas, tiene otros accesorios para espacios pequeños. La recomiendo mucho.
