Bought this tape to replace the two small adhesive metal ones supplied with the under counter rechargeable lights that I purchased. Originals did not hold hold the lights up, this tape did.

There is nothing magnetic about this product. It has the protective covering on both sides. When removed, one side is sticky but the other side is not magnetic after you remove the clear protective strip. Don't waste your time or money.

Nowadays, everything is plastic. Added this to my "Plastic" Shower with the idea to hold my shower liner, which has those small magnets on the bottom, in place. And it works.Make sure to clean the tub good where you want this strip to go with rubbing alcohol before adhering this into place.And yes, magnets will stick to it.

Got it. Unrolled it. Stuck five-foot long strips to the wall. Hung my posters. Four or five days later and everything is still right where I put it. So no complaints. You do have to be careful not to fold or kink the tape while handling it. I got one fold and it really hasn't come out--though I haven't tried very hard to flatten it since it is at the bottom of the wall and not very visible.

This is a metal strip to put magnets on. The strip itself is not magnetic. I wasted my money assuming that I was purchasing strips that were magnetic to adhere to my garage.
