I had the Mr. Coffee Cafe Barista for 8 years and loved it! Used it once or twice daily for that long with no issues at all! I had to replace it this year and liked the price point on this since I didn’t need all the bells and whistles. I really like the espresso it produces, but it’s very light. That makes it harder to unscrew the canister piece. I always have to hold the whole unit to remove the canister. I also don’t like that you have to fill the water reservoir every single time. The other unit I had had a tank. Lastly, I often find the unit still on later in the day because I forget and the on light is on the side so I don’t see it’s still on after I’ve used it. All of that being said, the taste of the espresso and the price point still makes it worth it to me. I don’t foresee this will be a long-time maker for me, but it’s already paid for itself.

Overall, I really like it. Makes great lattes, which is the main thing. I was trying to find something smaller than my older Mr Coffee that could make coffee too. However, this is much more manual than that one. On the plus side it is easy to keep clean and the steam is powerful and fast. Overall, great machine.

Handle broke after a year. Also the brewing prosses takes longer after using a while. Even after cleaning. Not to bad though.

I wanted to wait a few months before writing this review to make sure it was accurate. I was pretty skeptical about buying such an affordable espresso machine—I thought only the expensive ones could brew good espresso. But honestly, this thing is awesome! Just make sure you use beans you like, because I tried a few different brands over the months, and it makes a huge difference. The milk steamer? Total game changer for my morning cafecitos! Also, read the directions—they really help you get the best out of it. Definitely recommend this machine. It's one of my favorite Bolo buys, and I’m so glad I took the risk.

This is a great inexpensive espresso maker and it lasts for years. It is much better than more expensive brands!!!I just wish it came with the glass carafe with a lid, as it used to. Now one has to buy that separately.

after a few years use has been returned twice for repairs, still malfunctions but living with the poor choice-steamer leaks and not always up to the job of foaming milk. coffee levels go up and down- can be noisy at times (like leave the room loud) and does get flushed when required- not worth the cost.
Selector knob internal drive connector is weak and breaks off
Great coffee maker, but in only 5 months, the selector knob broke off. The design is weak. A white plastic square drive that engages the knob broke of under normal use (2 times a day, more or less). Part is not available and is not repairable. I'm ordering a new machine, though, as otherwise this is the best latte maker on the market.

Es mi primera cafetera de Espressos y es bastante intuitiva. El manual explica todo, y por el precio tiene excelentes funciones. Muy recomendada.

shipping took forever and the pieces missing
It did not come with the metal jug for frothing milk! This is the main reason that I chose this specific product because it was supposed to come with that. Disappointed.
