5.0 out of 5 stars Very close to a real Oreo
ChocZero has been crushing it lately. They are really reinventing the wheel with these resistant dextrin-based snacks, and I think this is one of their best yet.The Chocolate Creme flavor is very good. I would say it's the closest thing I've had to an original Oreo, but it's not a 1:1 clone, of course. I think it's important to go into these foods without expecting an exact clone. I would say it's maybe 80% of the way there. It's a fantastic cookie, even without comparing it to an Oreo. The Vanilla Creme flavor is my favorite. It is very tasty and very close to the vanilla Oreo, maybe even better! It is very good, but it does suffer from the same issue as most of these resistant dextrin-based snacks: it has a slightly dry, almost sawdust-like mouthfeel. However, it's not very noticeable with these cookies. Both of these flavors are top-tier, and they seem to stay fresh for a while. I bought mine on February 29th, and we just finished the last ones yesterday, May 26th. They were kept in one of those airtight vacuum-sealed containers, so that probably helped, but they stayed very fresh and crunchy the entire time. Another thing these cookies really don't have is that "health food" taste. If you have had sugar-free snacks, you probably notice that even the best snacks are slightly off, just a bit. These really don't have that taste to me at all, but I could be alone on this.I think they are some fantastic cookies that everyone should try when looking for a very tasty, sugar-free alternative with an added boost of dietary fiber!
5.0 out of 5 stars Best Butter Cookies Ever!
I have purchased these cookies so many times this past year. They are delicious, and taste like regular buttery sugar cookies. These cookies are packaged beautifully, with dividers and parchment separating each cookie style into little compartments, so that breakage is minimal, even with Bolo care, or, the lack, thereof! These tasteful and(did I say delicious?)cookies would be excellent for gifting, or serving to guests. You can see that the round metal type container in which they are packaged, is very attractive, and also quite similar to the regular higher carb type cookie container.Which brings me to the low keto element of these cookies. Many, many food products are labeled, "keto", nowadays, but, upon checking theingredients, the buyer may notice thatthe item is made with essentially non-keto products, especially the sweetenerpart. I have purchased this brand,Choczero, pretty steadily for a year now,and have always found that theingredients are true keto. They alsoalways have all of the ingredients listed clearly, with the nutritional content able to be visible as well. Simply my, "go-to", brand, where the quality and claims of being keto have never failed.Enjoy! I'm pretty much an expert onmany of their other products, and all are of ridiculously high quality.
4.0 out of 5 stars Low carb, yes. Sugar free, yes. Low flavor, yes.
While I understand that these are NOT mean to replace a regular Danish cookie (it's not even close) it is seriously lacking in flavor, and due to the alternate recipe, it is NOT low-calorie. It does smell pretty nice, but half of them arrived already broken in half, despite the sealed tin. There are a couple different shapes that are reminiscent of the Danish cookies, but again, only in shape. They all taste the same. Same texture, same crumbliness, it's just a very boring-tasting tin of Danish-looking butter cookies. So why 4 out of 5 stars? I appreciate what they are trying to do within the constraints of what they have to work with. It's really 3.5 rounded up. If you don't have to eat these, don't.
3.0 out of 5 stars Cookies were broken…
The chocolate sandwich cookies are pretty good - quite reminiscent of Oreos. They’re a bit harder (crunchier), and have a bit less filling. They also are a bit sweeter than Oreos. But, for keto friendly, they’re a good option when you’re craving some cookies. I do think they’re pretty pricey considering such a small box of cookies. A small problem- they were packaged in a big Bolo box with other items I’d ordered. Since there was no padding in the box, my box of cookies did not fare well. (See picture). The cookie box itself was intact but when I opened it some of the cookies were broken from bouncing around inside the bigger box with all of the heavier items. I’ve ordered the cookies several times before - and when delivered by themselves or packaged more carefully, they arrived in perfect condition.
5.0 out of 5 stars Little hard but good!
I think they are flavourful and may even rival name brand cookies. But I think it's 3 carbs per two small cookies??? A little much if you're doing keto. Doable though. Just don't overindulge. You get quite a lot of cookies in one container as well! With a freshness seal that you can pat down close. Cheap cookies, considering other low carb or keto deserts on the market. They are a little harder than I like them to be, and again they were smaller than expected. I don't think they left any crumbs either, if you care about that.
5.0 out of 5 stars Yummy!
I've tried the Choc Zero varieties, but these are actually my favorite. They are so similar to butter Danish cookies. Nice and crunchy, great flavor, and low calories!!!
4.0 out of 5 stars The cookie cookie is not good bcz cookie is broke and cover plastic is open when i recevied
Very good cookies and cream flavor is ok but butter flavor is not good cookie is broke.. and also cover plastic is open
3.0 out of 5 stars Not Bad But Not Great Either
Taste good initially when you start eating them and then you start to get a bit of an strange aftertaste and an after texture. Once the initial flavor (which is actually quite nice) has gone you are left with a kind of gritty fake feeling texture, which is not super off-putting but it reminded me of this keto cereal I tried called Mouth Off, which was disgusting and once the flavor and initial structure has been broken down you are left with what feels like a mouth full of ground up dried grass clippings. Hard to describe, you have to eat it to see what I mean.Probably won't buy these again, they are pricey at double the cost of a similar size box of Oreos.
