This looks like many other hoists on the market, but the dual piston is a win! The wheels are somewhat of a pain to install, and in my first test I discovered I had forgotten to really tighten one of them Fortunately only one bolt wiggled loose and fell, and the wheel remained on the hoist. If it had fallen off, there might have been disagreeable consequences for my telescope! The screws holding the 3" smaller wheels are too short to accommodate both a flat washer and a split washer, so I used only the split washers, since these wheels only do light duty. The partially threaded bolts pinning both ends of the jack were missing, but fully threaded bolts were provided instead. A quick email to Trey confirmed that this was OK. BTW, the email customer support is stellar and friendly...makes one want to be a return customer. One thing I would like is the following: My primary use is to permit the mounting and dismounting of a telescope that is too heavy to lift and hold with one hand while tightening the mounting bolts on a tripod with an inclined wedge. The nylon 3.5" wheels work well in a garage with a smooth concrete floor, but in spite of much experimentation, I could not see any stars from inside the garage! :-( Problem is, the tripod is typically best located in areas accessible only through DG, grass, or uneven paving. It would be much better to have large diameter rubber wheels for this application. I will shop for some and hope I won't have to drill new holes to install them. ;-)
1.0 out of 5 stars Used one time cylinder started leaking
Used one time to move a small 318 motor from a flat bed trailer to place on an engine stand and the hydraulic cylinder started leaking. Frame seems sturdy but cylinders absolutely needs replacing. If you. Would not recommend unless you just want to have a one time use hoist
5.0 out of 5 stars very sturdy
I had trouble inserting caster screws into farthest in holes, so I reversed them and used lock washers in reverse so casters did not get stuck by the screws.the wheel assembly took the longest time, and the rest of the assembly was easy.no extra bolts, washers, nuts were included.once assembled, lifted 5th wheel hitch from truck with no problem.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great motor hoist!
A year later and it still works beautifully. Quality is kinda questionable after a year. It's rusting and one of the pins for the hydraulic part came out at some point and is kinda jank. Either way, still works great and it easy to put together! It was able to lift my 3.8 motor with ease and it very stable on pavement surprisingly, but is best on a solid surface.Definitely a good run of your money!
