I’m picky about knife quality. I wanted full tang, non-serrated, and dishwasher safe steak knives at a value price. These hit the mark. They came quite sharp, nice even edge bevel. I didn’t do a paper test as I might with an EDC knife, because they’re kitchen knives and I’m not in there slicing paper every day. Hefty but very comfortable feel in my small hands, usability is great. Steak knives in my kitchen double as food utility/paring/bit of everything knives. We’ve put them through the dishwasher a few times and they’re still looking handsome, no hints of rust spots or handles cracking. We’ve had a few steak and pork chop dinners with them, they cut meat just beautifully. I’ve also cut a ton of peaches, trimmed raw meat, opened some tough plastic food packaging, made cracker cuts of hard cheeses off the block- all worked great. Yes, the printing on the blade looks less than ideal, yes of course the “Damascus” folds are fake and etched in- I don’t really care about these features (the “Damascus” texturing seems to help food not to stick to the blade though, which is an unexpected perk). I think with coupons and sales I paid $37 for 6 knives- Fantastic value for this price. I expect them to give many years of good use.

I ordered these knives hoping for decent steak knives and was happily surprised at how great these are. These are solid knives. They feel great, are pretty heavy and cut well. I love the holder that comes with it, it fits right in the drawer and looks neat and clean. Recommend.

These knives are decent. They’re pretty sharp, they have a decent, (if slightly light) weight, and good balance. The tang and handle seem well-constructed. The Damascus steel print isn’t my favorite as it’s a bit misleading, but for the price, I can’t complain. They are a good basic set of steak knives and will do for anyone who doesn’t want to make a huge investment in the real weapons.

The Bolo web page in specifications says that they are dishwasher safe. Upon opening the package, the instructions say they are NOT dishwasher safe.UPDATE: After reading my comments about the knives not being dishwasher safe the seller contacted me. They gave me a full refund and apologized for the error on the web page. I was very impressed with their integrity and willingness to make things right for a customer. I have since actually used the knives and liked them very much. They have a good feel in your hand and they come very sharp. Knowing what I know now, I probably would've purchased the knives even though they're not dishwasher safe. The knives are top quality.I also trust the seller and would buy other products from them. They stand behind their product and the advertising that comes with it. This is good to know when you're purchasing from an unknown seller on Bolo.

I just received these knives. I was so excited to revive them, but when I opened them, I discovered that they are VERY dull. So dull that I could draw them across my fingers and not even worry about cutting myself. It's really a shame because they look nice and feel confortable in the hand. But they are knives, and knives should be sharp. I will sharpen them and see how long they hold an edge, then update this review.3/29/2024 Update...I used my worksharp to put a very sharp edge on these knives. I have intentionally used them on a consistent basis to see how they maintain their edge. I must say they are holding up very well. I have not experienced the rust as others have, but I treat my knives well. Never put them in a dishwasher and dry them thoroughly immediately after cleaning. I am much happier now that they are sharp. My wife loves them, which is all that really matters.

Sharp and accurate
Beautiful knives for the price. Yes they are chemically etched Damascus but seriously if you think you’re getting actual hand forged Damascus at this price you’re delusional. These are good knives. Full tang. Splice construction. Great for dinner, steaks and chicken. Well worth it. Would buy again

Good knife
The Damascus pattern is fake, but esthetically pleasing. The knives are very sharp and non-serrated, which is why I chose them. Much nicer to use than the serrated steak Henckels knives that came with a block set. If I was to be picky, the only con is that the inscription is not black, as the picture shows, but rather a less esthetic beige.
