Wow! I’m impressed by this alarm. First, delivery was super fast, ordered in the afternoon, delivered next afternoon. The unboxing experience was very satisfying, very much like the Apple product unbox. The device itself looks really elegant and simple. (I am a designer so I have high standards 😃). The material feels solid and high quality.Next, the setup is well-instructed and easy to follow. Although it did take me a few minutes to download the software. I am a bit patient when it comes to tech haha. But I guess it’s because the app itself has a lot of things going on, lots of Alexa functionality and some mindfulness music too, so it makes sense that it took time to download.I really love the beautiful lights and that it is very easy to control both from the device itself and from the app. Wow, finally I can ditch my phone (maybe take it out of my bedroom when I sleep haha) and use this amazing alarm so I can have a better sleep without the temptation to check my phone :)Lastly, I love that it has many mindfulness music, it definitely can help me if I can’t fall asleep easily. Can’t wait for this alarm to become my bedtime buddy!

This alarm would be great… if it was reliable. You cannot trust it to wake you up because it has so many problems and glitches. Half the time it disconnects from wifi, which means your set alarm is lost and you are oversleeping. Also, without wifi, you can’t use the app, which means you can’t use/set even basic functions of the device . When you try to reconnect, it takes several attempts, or says it can’t find wifi and directs you to restart router. Funny, because wifi is working just fine for every other electronic device in the house. The volume is inconsistent- one day it is fine, the next it is extremely loud, even though we haven’t touched any settings. Since we’ve had the device (approx 6 months), the app has gone through several changes in appearance/features, and these changes have not always been good. Also, the alarm tone choices are too nice and relaxing. There is no choice for a loud, annoying alarm to make you get out of bed. The worst part? The device worked fine for the first month or two. The glitches starting happening after the return window closed.

I bought this alarm clock about a year ago. Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give it a try anyway because it has features that I just cannot find on any other sunrise/sunset alarm clock. Specially, the ability the ability to connect to spotify. I have an instrumental playlist that I like to play as my "white noise" all night long while I sleep. Once connected and started, I can close both apps on my phone and the the list continues to play all night until the morning sunrise setting starts. Unfortunately, as others have stated, the sunrise setting is spotty and inconsistent. Since the days are getting shorter and a sunrise alarm makes a massive difference in how I feel when I wake up, it is time to abandon my attempts to use the alarm clock and find one the performs consistently, even if it doesn't have all the features that this one has. I cannot recommend this product unless they find a way to provide consistently, daily performance of the sunrise setting that can be counted on to perform its desired (and primary) function.

The good: the phone app is pretty intuitive and easy to use. And the clock does all the things it's supposed to.The bad: when using the sunset feature before bed the dimming is choppy. It seems to go in stages rather than smoothly from light to dark. And if you have sound as part of your bedtime routine, it does not fade out, but rather just stops.While you can set how long you want your sunrise and sunset features to take. They skip the 20 minute option. You can have it go for 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes or an hour. Personally, I really like a 20 minute time and that's not an option. This seems like a silly oversight.

I replaced sonos in my house for wiim. love that a wake up light is part of their line up! Some negative reviews based on the software, i agree it could be a little more feature rich, but its software so im sure they will update it! But like colors are great, sound options for the morning are great. Best wake up light ive ever had, alarm settings on app are super easy to use, sound is great and lights are really peaceful

Had to do set up multiple times because it consistently disconnects from the wifi. I've never actually experienced the sunrise wakeup because the alarm fails to remain set.The light turns itself off all by itself.Wish I'd returned it in time for a refund.Several days later, it Works! Nothing I did, it just works. Has stayed online for 4 days.The sunrise aWakeup feature is gonna be wonderful next winter!Revised 07/07

I really liked this product. Setting it up was relatively easy and simple, and using it had been great. I use it every night to play calming music, and I feel like it’s helped me fall asleep quicker. The different color options for the light are all very pretty, and it makes my room look much nicer. Overall, a great product!

No ability to setup music streaming services as an alarm as documented in app. When you do manage to get a music streaming service setup via Alexa the wakeup function of the alarm no longer works. Not a fully baked product, I expect more from WiiM.
Realized I didn’t like it better than the Philips.
I thought the looks, music, and color features were really cool, but over a few months I’ve found the actual usability and effectiveness as a light alarm clock are just not working for me as good as the Philips did. If it just has a bit more light intensity / more even coverage, and better physical controls on the unit (also to use entirely app free if desired) it would be fine.
Entäuschung im Vergleich zu Wiim mini und Wiim Pro
Leider ist der Funktionsumfang im Vergleich zu Wiim mini und Pro deutlich eingeschränkt. Bei der Weckfunktion können zb nur vorgebene Radiostationen gewählt werden. Die Anordnung der Bedienknöpfe ist "kreativ" (Lichtsteuerung zb auf der Rückseite), ebenso die Stromzufuhr in der Mitte des Gehäuses, was die Kabelführung unschön macht.Leider retour.
Good but not perfect, no customer service
Got this lamp and was really excited because the ad said it could play a Spotify playlist to wake you up. Which is a complete lie. You can't link Alexa to your account. And developers seem to have just completely abandoned this item as the app hasn't been updated in months.And forget about getting a reply from them. Must have sent tons of support requests with never a single reply.
A bad product.
The product seemed cheap and the alarm was strange.
