I get so cold in the fall and winter (and in the A/C in the summer) and this was the perfect purchase for comfort in my couch! It’s the perfect throw size and has a great level of warmth that’s also adjustable. The blanket is super soft and cozy! I just wish it didn’t need to be plugged in but you can’t win them all!

I turn blanket on medium one hour before I get in bed then turn off when I get in bed and it holds the heat. Blanket is soft and thick and doesn’t shift on the bed. Highly recommend!

I like how when I first opened the box that this blanket was tightly sealed in an airtight vacuum-packed clear plastic bag, assuring product integrity of first use from the factory. I like that this blanket is very soft and plush and feels really nice to the touch. I also like that it’s warm just as a regular blanket without any power at all. And I like that the 3hr default timer setting is intuitive for regular use and the highest heat setting seems sufficient even when really cold.Although very soft and plush, it’s thin enough that you can feel the heating cables within it's build, and that start their inlaid pattern at about 10 inches in from the outer border. I don't like that it seems like some spots heat up more than others, but over all it does warm up quickly. And i don't like that the handheld controller itself does seem to heat up a bit when on the highest setting but I found you don’t have to keep it on high for very long, just to warm up quickly before setting it lower. I hang my controller from a hook hung off my bed side dresser drawer which helps give it adequate space to "hang out" and be cool, which does work.This is the throw size model and I like that its smaller because while I'm also using other regular blankets, this one, when really cold, I lay on top of them (and sometimes one on top of it too hold the heat in) on my lower half to add needed mostly for my leges and especially my feet that can get cold like ice cubes and this really helps with that. I even use it on the couch sometimes but either way I always use it with a sheet (preferably flannel) to keep it clean longer and haven't had to wash it yet.This is surely not a perfect product, nor at this price point is it made of the highest standard or quality, but despite its minor issues, it’s been working pretty good keeping me warm at night. Will update if any of this changes, but after the few months of daily use that I've given it, I can recommend it with a four-star rating or better.

This is a beautiful blanket. The color is exactly as pictured(dark blue). The price is great. The quality is amazing. This throw is warn even without the electric turned on. It heats quickly and evenly. I highly recommend this throw.

We were using an old sunbeam elec blanket but it was twin or full size. Not ideal for two adults in a queen bed. That blanket is going into the spare bedroom as it still works wonderfully but we needed something better.After a lot of research I chose this one because of the dual controls. I bought a king size because that works best so we’re not fighting for the blankets and we still have enough blanket when the dogs are in bed too. The controls are easy to operate and we love we can each have our own setting.This blanket is extremely warm on the 6&up settings and takes awhile to cool down if you drop the temp bc it’s too hot. Not a big deal. Just a learning curve. We’ve found our sweet spots are 3-4 settings.I was extremely concerned about fire hazards due to previous reviews but I have not noticed the connections getting warm at all. Even at the higher settings we tried.I love the auto timer too. That definitely adds to the feeling this is a safe itemWe have used this for almost a week now, every night, and can say we love it. Perfect timing on the purchase because the last week has been freaking cold where we live.Would buy again. Will update if anything changes my mind about the product. Shipping was delayed 3 days. Unsure why but it did get here.Edit: we removed the duvet/comforter and still are very warm at 4-5 setting but don’t wake up extremely hot. I would recommend this for everyone. If you need the additional weight of a comforter, I highly doubt you’ll need to use higher than a 4 setting unless you are in an extremely cold climate.

I really like these blankets and have purchased them multiple times. They are super soft and my dog always comes to snuggle when I have it on.Expect them to last two or three seasons with daily/nightly use in cold weather and only washing when necessary. Note the directions stress to plug the blanket connector in *before* you plug it into the wall socket. The control WILL eventually fail. But the blanket still works without heat. ;-)

Uneven heating, only heats on one side
I bought this product because the blanket was the right side, I read reviews on other sites that it got up to a good heat, and it had a long cord. Unfortunately the heating is very uneven and only half the blanket heats up. I definitely wouldn't buy this again.
