5.0 out of 5 stars Can't beat it
Better than any controller on the market. Hall effect sticks which are pretty easy to get used to and feel incredibly smooth. Paddles are good and I like how you can lock them so you don't press them on accident. And for $40? You can get 4 of these for the price of one Scuf or Elite, although you won't need to with its longevity.
5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the best default controller for xbox
I own two Microsoft Elite controllers and after replacing the broken shoulder buttons twice on one, once on the other then abandoning it due to severe stick drift, I just gave up.I heard that "hall effect" sticks are more resilient to drift so I tried this and loved it out of the box.Great feel, solid design. To itemize:- shoulder buttons feel good. Nothing special, but a remarkable improvement over the MS elite.- back buttons are better than the elite for me; not intrusive an prevent accidental presses.- config app is UX is identical to the MS app. Three(3) available slots for hot-swap configs.- D-pad feels amazing; best way to explain it is "a controller version of an MX brown input".- Built-in volume control with a dedicated mute button (excellent for my mid-match sneezes)I would buy a console-only xbox with this controller as my "perfect gift" idea. That's how much I like it.Two major caveats though:- This controller is only wired. I prefer that, but I can see how that'd be a deal-breaker. Planning on buying a 2nd controller so we'll see how it works with two.- The back buttons are re-mappable with the free app but, as far as I know, are not unique inputs; you don't net additional buttons with this controller.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great Controller!
Like many people, I was looking for a controller that specifically dealt with stick drift. I’ve spent hundreds of dollars replacing my Xbox controllers due to stick drift. I can honestly say this controller has been worth every dollar. The sticks on the controller are great and the 2 back buttons on the controller can also be re-mapped for those of us who don’t want to press our thumbsticks down on our controllers. The controller also feels good, easy to grip and quality design. The Gamesir software app was also easy to use and hassle free. For anybody wondering if it’s worth trying/purchasing, it is. Definitely would recommend.
1.0 out of 5 stars A good try, but could be better
I bought this controller after using my Razer Wolverine V2 for the longest time. I wanted to see if the hall effect joysticks were really worth it. I can tell you that I did not like the controller at all. As a big guy, I have big hands, and the Razer felt great in them. This controller definitely feels way lighter and of a cheaper build. I definitely feel like my hand has to close further around this one. The buttons on the back are right on the pads of my finger so everytime I tense my hand, it pushes the buttons without intending to. (The Razer has it's buttons on the top near the bumpers) Whenever I press the buttons, sometimes I have to press them again because it feels like it doesn't register the input. Finally, I didn't notice hardly any difference between hall effect and regular joystick. In summary, if you have smaller hands, this controller will be perfect to you; however, it failed to meet my expectations. Comfort, buttons, and performance all score very low with me. The only thing I liked was the customization within the app. Ultimately, I will probably go back to my Razer and keep looking for a different controller that isn't as uncomfortable
4.0 out of 5 stars One week review
I’m a big guy with big hands (xl gloves are tight), so I never liked lightweight or smaller controllers. I had an especially bad feeling when I took this one out of the box and immediately it felt cheap. Still, I already spent the money and I don’t have another working controller so I forced myself to give it a try. It was a pleasant surprise. The Hall effect sticks are good, albeit if I change my settings to zero dead zone and set the controller down I’ll still move a bit, and the nexus app is very functional. A bit intimidating for someone who’s never had so much control over my settings, but it was fairly intuitive. My one quarrel with it was control freaks don’t fit on it. Pressed too hard and snapped the legs clean off my mw3 edition ones. Other than that, features like the hair triggers and raw sens are super helpful, especially for movement heavy games like call of duty or ones that require accuracy like rainbow six. Overall a good buy but now I have to drop another twenty on control freaks :(
5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful, Reliable, and Built for Precision
I really like this controller! I’ve only ever used the controllers that come with the Xbox console, but needed a replacement when my current one died. The movement is super smooth and precise. What truly sets this controller apart is the extra programmable buttons on the back. I didn’t know I needed them until I had them!My previous controller was wireless. I haven’t used a wired controller in ages, but I LOVE that I never have to worry about losing connection or running out of charge mid-game. Being wired means it’s always ready to go when I am — no interruptions, no fuss. Plus, the cord is extra long so I never have to move things around to sit closer. Overall, really happy with my purchase!
5.0 out of 5 stars Gamesir G7 SE Xbox Controller (Orange)
This is my 2nd Gamesir Purchase. My 1st purchase broke but that was completely my fault. I accidentally dropped it (More then once lol) and the right trigger stopped working. This is an amazing controller! I would even say it is my favorite and I had a LOT of different controllers from different brands. You can't beat the price and it has hall effect joysticks as well as Triggers. I would definitely recommend this controller to anyone who games. It is great and it looks awesome as a plus. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Perhaps the best Xbox-style controller on Amazon
I have one of these that I got for free through Vine. I've tested many controllers and none has been as good as this one. So when my fiancé's PDP controller finally bought the farm a couple months ago (I think she must have bounced it off the floor a few too many times), I bought her her own GameSir G7. Now we can both enjoy a high-quality controller for our Xboxes (and my PC).What's good? The precise analog sticks. The clicky buttons. The long cable. The clean colour scheme. The replaceable faceplate that's held on by magnets. The quality FEEL that you don't get from a CHEAP controller. What's bad? Nothing. Get one when it's on sale. I got it for $57 CDN and that's a great price for a great controller. Yes, it isn't quite as fancy as some of the other controllers you'll find on here, but the quality (so far as I've found, anyway) will more than make up for the gimmicks offered by the competitors. 5/5, awesome controller.
