5.0 out of 5 stars Game changer
5/5 stars! I'm thoroughly impressed with this product, which has exceeded my expectations in several ways. The expandable feature was a top priority for me, and I'm happy to report that it works seamlessly. The blade is remarkably sharp, making it easy to use and efficient. Additionally, the tool itself is surprisingly light, making it comfortable to maneuver and reducing fatigue.I've found this product to be a game-changer for my needs, and I appreciate the attention to detail in its design. If you're in the market for a reliable and versatile tool, I highly recommend giving this one a try. The only potential area for improvement could be the inclusion of additional accessories or attachments to further enhance its capabilities. Overall, however, I'm extremely satisfied with this purchase.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazingly versatile & sturdy pruning saw
I have in no way been compensated for this review... so let me start by saying: I LOVE this saw.We have a number of oaks (among other trees) on our property, and they hadn't been pruned in many years. There was a lot of clutter in the canopy, and it was impossible to reach with our "standard" pole saws, so we decided to give this one a try. It comes with 3 blades - and 2 separate cutting heads. Two blades are identical and feature hooks at either end so that they don't slip out of the cut, and one is the more typical curved pruning blade that attaches to the pruning shear head. You would use this one to go after smaller branches.First: the blades are sharp and cut very nicely. Like I said, I've been working on oak trees and cutting 6" diameter branches with a 20' pole attached, and while I'm definitely getting a workout, I'm also quite happy with how these blades are cutting.Second: the pole design is brilliant. The sections screw together, and then a spring catch locks into place. To disassemble, press the spring catch while starting to turn to loosen the screw connection. It probably sounds complicated, but it's not; when you see it and use it, it makes perfect sense. The sections are 4' long so you can tailor the length of the pole pretty precisely for the area you need to work in.I've seen some comments that mention the tool being ungainly or hard to control... well, if you've got a 24 foot long lever arm, and you're trying to control it by holding onto it by the last 4 feet, it's going to be a challenge. It's easy to add and subtract length to the pole for each cut - yes, it takes an extra minute, but spending an extra minute for safety and ease of control is just common sense. If you have to cut with the saw at its maximum length, you should be aware that it can be hard to position a 24' pole precisely by holding onto one end of it, and that this does require some upper body strength. That's not a ding against this product, is a feature of the laws of physics. The saw comes with a nice canvas carrying bag that fits everything, and also comes with a hard plastic sleeve that covers the saw blade so that it doesn't snag. For anyone who needs a pruning saw that's capable of taking down larger branches at distances greater than 10 feet, I'd recommend this saw without hesitation. For the capability you get, it's a screaming bargain.
4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty good
For the money it’s decent. I got it because of the length. I wish the sections were longer. They are super short. It’s a little more flexible than I would like. The blade isn’t very good. If you use this with any regularity buy a corona blade. They are much better and fit perfectly. One other reason I got this one was because I like the way the sections lock together. They screw together and lock in place. I did have to drill the holes out so the detent would lock properly. After all my mods it works well and it really wasn’t expensive. To pay someone what I can now do would cost hundreds.
5.0 out of 5 stars Plenty long. Good pruning blade.
Got it today and pruned a couple dozen small (abt 1in dia) mulberry tree branches high in the tree (needed all but 2 extensions). It was easy to use and worked great. Haven’t tried saws yet (there are three in the box). The heavy duty storage bag with special pocket for saw blades is top quality.
5.0 out of 5 stars Better than expected!
I was able to achieve everything I wanted to with this saw. Saved me untold riches compared to hiring a tree trimmer. The saw was easy to handle with 6 of 8 poles attached. 7 poles was a little challenging. I cut a 5-inch diameter branch with all 8 poles attached. It wasn't easy, but I am an average-sized guy in my late 40's. You'll want to be careful using a product with these capabilities. Very satisfied with this purchase.- Quality materials. Well built.- Easy to assemble and disassemble.- Sharp blades.- Excellent blade design. Love the hooks.- Love the blade cover and storage bag.
Works
We had a few high limbs that were broken from recent storms. Since i’m too old to be climbing trees anymore and don’t like being on a ladder with saw of any kind cutting branches, I thought this would be a great idea. I have a chainsaw on a pole as well but it wasn’t close to being long enough. It arrived with all the parts, assembly is easy. I cut 2 dozen limbs of varying size at a height of 10’ to 22’ + with this tool. Blades are sharp, comes with extra blade, and the pruning tool worked as well. For the price, I consider it money well spent. Storage bag is a bonus. I’m not saying it's easy holding a long pole 20 odd feet in the air and cutting but it worked. Go slow and steady.
very usefull
works well just don't try cutting any very large branches you'll be at it forever
Nice Product!
So light and so solid at the same time.
Really long reach cutting and pruning pole set.
Nice set of long reach poles, the really good thing is that the poles lock into position when assembled, they will definitely stay in position while the pole is being used.I would recommend that 2 people use the pole when using all sections it will be much safer, the saw cuts branches with no problem but you must let the saw do the work and not force the blade. The added addition of a pruning section is good and makes pruning much easier at height.Used carefully this is a great addition to the gardening tool set.
Bisher absolut empfehlenswert!
