5.0 out of 5 stars Long playing
Like long battery life, apps and features, like Bluetooth connection, cable that came with. Does not have a good connection as an antenna sometimes music fades in and out. Have to move around to get a good connection. Bought separate plastic protective case but cable insert could not go through plastic case into the player cable too thick that came with the player Had to buy new cables otherwise great MP3. Like
1.0 out of 5 stars Died within three months of light use
The headline says it all - it's dead within three months of delivery.Superficially, it's a nice product. Small, good capacity, satisfactory sound if you run it through headphones or external speakers. I agree with one of the other reviewers that the software is poor. I got the impression that I'd be able to download and install mp3-player software of my choice, but never figured out how to do it (and I'm a computer guy). It may be doable, but there's a limit on how much time I'm willing to spend on something like that. The bottom line, however, is that it's dead. The last time I tried to use it it wouldn't turn on. Thinking I'd left it on and run out the battery, I hooked it up to a battery pack for charging, but it won't take a charge; it's now a small and ineffective paperweight. Maybe the device is a piece of nicely-finished junk, or maybe the manufacturer has quality-control problems. Either way, I recommend that if you want this kind of a gadget, pick a different one.
4.0 out of 5 stars Dead within 4 months edit - not dead after all
Bought this for my son in June. Jess hardly touched it but today wanted to listen to his music. Device won’t turn on and won’t take a charge. I’ve contacted their customer support and I will update this review if I get any satisfactory response from themJust want to update that I did get a response from the manufacturer within 24 hours and it turns out the player is not dead. It only charges on a USB-A to USB-C cable and I was trying on a C to C. The reason that happens is that a C to C connection requires a bit of communication regarding which way the charge travels and this player isn’t capable. I believe that’s a cheap cop out but this is cheap player so I kinda understand. I’m updating my review from 1 star to 4.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice quality mp3 player
First off I n ver even heard of innioasis brand. I must say though this mp3 player has impressed me with it's quick Bluetooth hook ups and sound quality while using Bluetooth. It was a little confusing at first to use but once I figured everything out it's simple to use.I've been through so many mp3 players that just stopped working, software wouldn't work right and would leave large sections of my music library out. This player manged to record all the ton of music of my desktop and still has plenty of room left over for even more music. I might not even need the memory card! I was worried that it was made in China, but so far this little player has impressed me. We shall see how it works in the long run. I can only hope it lasts as long as the old Sony mp3 players.
5.0 out of 5 stars Not Just For Kids
It’s amusing if not worrying that the smartphone has become such an everything device that alternatives to many of its features have vanished. One casualty has been the small, portable music and audiobook player. The fact that the G3 exists may be due to a market for smartphone features for children without giving them a smartphone. You can play music, and audiobooks, read Kindle books, and have internet access through WiFi and a solid connection to Bluetooth devices. Yet it can fit well within the common shirt pocket. It’s a splendid device for adults too who’ve seen multitasking for what it is – an often painful compromise leading to attention span deficits. If you prefer to focus on what you’re listening to without telephone and text interruptions, the G3 is ideal.WiFi and Bluetooth are solid; the touchscreen UI is outstanding. The size is perfect. It makes my smartphone seem enormous, yet I can read Kindle books on its small screen. But there are caveats. These are all related to its target audience: children. The installed music player is good but the volume is limited. I installed a more capable player – Neutron. But that involves a second bit of child-proofing. You cannot install apps involving Google Play. You cannot install any apps at all without first setting up a Parental Controls password and expressly enabling the installation of apps. You can install Android apps from *.apk files, however. This is how I installed Neutron.I had many setup issues but product support for this device is OUTSTANDING! They thoroughly answered my *many* questions – including short videos and written answers. And they did so *on a Sunday* and from a time zone far from my own. This has been a long hunt for me. My smartphone is plagued with constant spam and scams. I needed the noise to stop so my brain could fully engage. And this does it all until they implant the mandatory intracranial microchip. Just kidding. Mostly.
3.0 out of 5 stars Very good player, but problem with USB port
To begin with, I will say that I really like this player. it has all the necessary functions and is very simple and easy to use. Last year I bought a G1 model, it had a defect - the player could not connect to the computer, the USB port did not work. The company quickly responded to my message about the malfunction and offered me a replacement, for which I am grateful to them for their excellent service and responsibility for their products. This player works great all this time. Now I bought a new G3 model. Literally the second time the player stopped charging. Again the problem is with the same USB port, only now with charging. The player doesn't work. I tried changing with several other chargers and cables that work on other devices, but this player does not react at all, there is no charging. I would really like to advise the Innioasis company that produces this wonderful inexpensive player, to pay attention to the problem with the USB port. Very upset.
INSANE value, excellent little device
The media could not be loaded. I cannot believe how well this thing works. It is a full fledged Android device running Oreo, that's locked down just enough to feel like a dedicated media player. The device is fast, responsive and has an excellent battery life. It comes with a built-in speaker, headphone jack, microphone, and SD card expansion slot. When I purchased the mp3 player, it included a pair of pretty decent braided earbuds, a USB C cable, a cleaning cloth as well as a 125GB SD card. Incredible inclusions for something that was less than $100 CAD.The device is preloaded with a number of apps including Spotify, Chrome, Tidal, Apple Music, Audible and much more. There is even an included radio app that uses your headphones as a receiver to pick up local radio stations. Unfortunately if you are looking to add apps for additional functionality, the device does not include the Google play store and does not support sideloading without being rooted. The device may not be exactly audiophile quality, but it more than makes up for it given the cost. The hardware feels solid and well crafted, and has everything you would need functionally in an mp3 player. I have nothing bad to say about it; serious kudos to innioasis.

Perfect for use with a 512gb SD card
I did my research for this as I had about 20 tabs open, with 20 different MP3 players. I have a 512gb sd card holding over 20,000 tracks that was in my phone, but needed something that could read a high capacity SD card. Most only accommodate a maximum of a 128gb Card, so this was perfect. It's the perfect size and just looks like a little mobile phone, and can do a lot of what a mobile does, but just doesn't have a sim card for calls. It has apps for audiobooks, playing mp4 videos, a gallery, and even an internet browser.Syncs perfectly with my bluetooth wireless headphones ( there are good quality angled earbuds provided, but I prefer proper headphones ), and the sound is great ( although that appliesas much to whatever headphones you attach to it ). Connects easily to my bluetooth speaker, and even the treadmill.Lots of accessibility options for increasing the font size, display size, and even has a zoom ability if you triple-tap the screen, which then allows you to pinch the screen to expand the view.So far, it's perfect and I couldn't be happier with the product Very highly recommended
