5.0 out of 5 stars Exceeded my expectations
All I can tell you is this thing has worked perfectly since the data we got it easy to install easy to connect with Bluetooth and the battery Last forever most importantly the sound is so clear really no matter what speed you’re going it Is Crystal clear with no interference. All the buttons are easily assessable even with gloves on you cannot do any better for the price. I definitely recommend buying it you’ll get your money’s worth.
4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic dollar to value.
Quick review for yall. I bought what was pretty much the cheapest Bluetooth/intercom on Bolo to see how I like having a helmet mount unit. It was about 15% cost of the unit built for my helmet, which is a hjc i90. I will start with the bad.I had to take all the velcro and padding off the speakers to get them comfortable in the helmet, which did have a recess for them. They are probably 3/8" thick. That is my only gripe. The good.At 75mph the speakers sound good, and I can carry a conversation over the phone. My wife said it had some wind noise, but could hear me no problem. Music quality is "OK". Not astounding but gets louder than I will use. I could listen to my audio book at highway speed. It pops off in a second to charge. The buttons feel good and have a good cover. Using Bixby worked just fine and I was able to place calls with it.I got this to replace using ear buds, which drove me nuts commuting. I will be buying another one for my kids helmet. Overall I am absolutely impressed with the vaule.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great unit
This is a great purchase… plenty loud for my full face helmet and sound quality is actually really good. Phone calls sound clean and people I’m calling can’t hear one bit of wind noise from my end while riding any speed. Installation took awhile routing the wires in the helmet and such but end result is a very clean install. And for the price this is a great unit. I ride with foam earplugs which actually helps me to hear the music better.
5.0 out of 5 stars The best thing
My husband absolutely loves this!! But now that I’m starting to ride he wants me to have one! After a year of me ordering him seems like it will no longer ship to the same address… idk if it’s just a me thing or if anyone else is running into the same issue.
1.0 out of 5 stars Better options available
You get what you pay for, it’s ok for music, beyond 40mph it doesn’t carry well. The comm for other riders doesn’t stay connected or let you hear each other enough to have a conversation. Won’t buy again
5.0 out of 5 stars Durable and great range
I can park my bike at the pump and leave my phone at my bike and walk in to get a Red Bull browse the aisle stand in line and not ever lose connection I also have had been slammed with a couple of good rain storms and it held up I also am impressed with the battery life the item arrived safe and on time with prime delivery
3.0 out of 5 stars Head set works great with music but sucks for calls
Head set is loud when playing music easy to connect to your phone and has a good battery life on it. Had it for a few months and only charged twice. I rode to work with it daily over an hour each way for a few weeks and some longer rides. My bike is loud and there's some wind noise with my helmet and I can hear music nice and clear. But as soon as I get a call the sound dissappear the call will pick up but it drops the sound volume for calls and you can't turn it back up have not been able to figure out the intercom and how to link it to other helmets either. Over all I use it just for music while riding so doesn't really bother me with calls but sucks to have to pull my helmet off and stop to answer a call and be able to hear the other person.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very pleased!
I haven't owned a comm system for many years, my last being a Cardo unit that eventually died. I wasn't really looking into another but saw this during Prime Days and for the price thought, "Why Not"? I went with the V80 model for the intercom ability. Here are my initial impressions after some use. I haven't had any occasion to link with another unit or to use the intercom. If and when I do I'll update this review. My intent was to listen to music and to use the phone. There weren't any mounting instructions provided, not that any were needed. It does include a user manual which is actually quite good. This thing comes with all kinds of ways to install it. I opted for the double sided tape to secure the mount to my helmet, which it holds quite securely. My pics show all the "stuff" that came with it for mounting, though not included are the actual mounting bracket, speakers and hard mic, since they're already installed on my helmet. Noteworthy is that there are 2 microphones, a bendable mic for open face helmets and one to use on closed face helmets. One problem I do have is that the bendable mic requires mounting inside the cheek pad. The base of the mic where it velcros to the helmet is "fat" enough that I can't keep one of the snaps on the cheekpad snapped in. The mic and pad stays in place and I don't feel anything when wearing the helmet. I'll keep playing with that. The speakers are a little wide but fit into my Scorpion helmet which has slight depressions for helmet speakers. These speakers do extend beyond the depressions but do not bother my ears. In fact, I wear earplugs and they still don't interfere.Connecting to my Android phone's bluetooth is almost instantaneous. The speaker volume may be an issue for some. In use it appears this unit does not amplify volume, but relies on the volume amplication of the phone it connects to. Strangely, I can hear the unit better with my earplugs in versus not wearing them. I think with the earplugs blocking out most of the windnoise it allows the speakers to be better heard. Also, when I use the equalizer function for music the volume seems to be less. In other words I have more music volume when not using the equalizer, and the music sounds quite good! It's possible some of my experiences with volume could be my old phone.Voice assistant works great. Press the rear button, wait a bit for the tone, then speak your command. It is a little slow at times, but I suspect it's more an issue of my old phone rather than this unit. Placing a phone call is easy and while riding with my face shield up on my 3/4 helmet at about 30mph my wife says she can't hear any wind noise.Other functions include advancing or bactracking songs, increasing or decreasing volume and easy and quick removal of the unit from the mount. So, my rating for this unit on the features I use are a solid 4. The only reason not a 5 is because of the small issues noted above. But I have to say that if I factor in the price I paid.... a 5!
Amazing product
Works amazing way better than i was expecting I used to have a sena costed 10 times more then this and this product keeps up even with the heigh end stuffI'm definitely buying another one for my other helmet
Came broken
Opened the box to it being covered in sticky stuff . Won’t switch on , won’t charge . Would love a refund or replacement as I ain’t sending this garbage back
