4.0 out of 5 stars My dog stopped eating grass, so they definitely work
My dog was eating grass every time we went outside for walkies, then my husband sent me a tiktok video promoting these for grass eating. They work and his poops are more normal. I'm only rating 4 stars for the price- $50 for 60 chews and I have a large dog that needs 3 for a serving and it says to give once daily.
5.0 out of 5 stars Fussy dog actually ate these.
Hope they work. Too soon to tell
5.0 out of 5 stars Great ingredients
I love the purity and the limited ingredients in this probiotic complex. Many of these types of products have poor ingredients filling and forming the probiotic treat, but this has all good things in it, and a limited ingredient list as well, which is good for a sensitive tummy.
5.0 out of 5 stars My dogs didn't mind it
I can't tell how effective it was, but my dogs didn't mind it being on their food
4.0 out of 5 stars Very good probiotics that did help my dog's digestive system, just a few poor ingredients.
First of all, I only used these when my dog's tummy was upset, too, and I had to grind the chews so he would eat them. He's a picky dog, all right, but he did eat these. They do seem to work well. These treats aren't cheap, but the cost works out to 83 cents per chew, which is a small price to pay for not having to pick up mushy (or worse) dog poop. I am all for anything that prevents those things happening. ANYTHING!! And these do work and are healthy and good for your dog in the bargain. There are a few ingredients in these chews that I don't see much benefit in and aren't good for dogs: Canola oil is almost always GMO (genetically modified organism), and most people don't want their dogs to have GMO foods. Vegetable oil is listed right at the end, so it's a small amount, but it's not good for your dog. And the last ingredient I wish these treats didn't have is rosemary extract; pet owners whose pets suffer from seizures will want to take note of that ingredient and evaluate carefully the risks and benefits of giving their dogs this supplement.Obviously, your dog is only getting small amounts of all these things, but it would be wonderful if the company could work up a recipe for these probiotic treats that didn't contain canola oil, vegetable oil, or rosemary extract. These are very good probiotics, all that aside, and they are worth every penny you pay for them since they help your dog have firm stools. I know firsthand how miserable it is to try to pick up dog poop that's not firm at 3 a.m. in the rain, and I'd do anything to avoid that again. The formula in these probiotics seems to work, and that makes everybody happy.
3.0 out of 5 stars Great product but $50? Ouch.
I got these because my dog had been adopted from the shelter not that long ago and I wanted to help her adjust. She was having stress diarrhea and some upset stomach and these were well received and did the job fantastically. I would have love to have kept her on them but the $49.99 price tag per container is just out of my league. There are many probiotics out there for dogs, even from the vet office, that are less expensive than that, and while I truly believe this is a fantastic product, I cannot justify that price for 30 chews.
5.0 out of 5 stars If my dog likes it, I like it
They smell kinda funky, but then again, so do most dog treats. The real judge and star reviewer is my dog who has decided resoundingly that these are, at the very least, edible. She will sit and give you a paw for them once the jar is opened, and she is a little bit picky (she thinks milk bones are beneath her.)Her stools seem to be of good quality as well since taking these. She is very anxiety prone and her stools can run….watery at times depending on how anxious she’s feeling. We haven’t had any issues in that department thus far. Not sure if it’s more so because she’s not as anxious lately (nothing has changed though) or if it’s in part thanks to these treatsOverall, they aren’t bad. If my dog likes them, then I like them
