5.0 out of 5 stars Great sound and beautiful design
I just received this speaker and I'm impressed with the sound quality compared to my previous speaker. Simple to set up, and the sound is rich and clear. I'll add a caveat that I only tested it with streamed audio from my phone using Bluetooth, so there's the usual compression that goes with that, but as an apples-to-apples comparison to my previous speaker, it's night and day.I also want to call out the construction and design. This is a solid speaker, well designed and well built, and since I'm using it in our living room which includes several antique pieces, this mid-century look is just beautiful. I didn't want the look of modern electronics in that room, and this fit the bill perfectly. Now my only decision is when do I buy more for other rooms. If you haven't guessed, I recommend this speaker.
4.0 out of 5 stars It’s just pretty good
Honestly, it’s just “pretty good.” Bluetooth connects quickly from my iPhone, so it’s easy to use and pair. It looks great, understated and classy. Nice quality in the controls. About the size of a shoe box. The volume range is good. I don’t know why it doesn’t have any porting at all, and I think because of that it lacks a little bit of low end.I’ll be honest, I expected to be impressed by a brand like Klipsch, but nothing wows me about the sound. I have not directly compared it side by side with any of the Marshall’s but I imagine it has similar performance. It will beat anything “Beats Pill” sized and it should.
5.0 out of 5 stars It’s deep and well balanced
I bought this speaker for those music enjoyment moments when you don’t want the volume on 10 and listen to some great oldies it must be plugged in to work there is no internal battery to charge and the Bluetooth is easy to sync headphones to in my opinion it’s Bose quality audio
5.0 out of 5 stars Way better than Bose!
I have a Bose speaker in my office that malfunctions after a year of use so I bought a new Bose speaker. Brought it to work and charged it up. When the battery ran low I plugged it in but it wouldn't charge. Tried 2 more Bose cables in different outlets but it wouldn't charge. Saw this Klipsch here on Bolo and ordered it. It looked nicer and the sound was by far better than the Bose. After 5 different Bose products I am switching to Klipsch!
2.0 out of 5 stars Sound quality MEH
Ok this thing is designed well and looks really nice.,.. but for $240 the sound is sub-parthin and a bit murky.
5.0 out of 5 stars Rich, fabulous sound from a Bluetooth speaker system
Love the rich, full sound from this amazing small desktop speaker system. As an audiophile, I was skeptical at first, but it delivers. Works well with the app, where you can make bass, mid-range, and treble adjustments to suit your listening style. Highly recommended.
1.0 out of 5 stars Broadcast Mode just doesn’t cut it
I bought a Three Plus for my bedroom and really liked it. Bluetooth connection is just as good as usb-c connection and with a cheap Bluetooth turntable from Audio Technica, records sounded great as well for what the system is.I don’t have a large house (1800 square feet)—master bedroom is on the ground floor. Short little hallway and then the kitchen and living room is right there.I bought two of the One’s—one for my kitchen and one for my living room.No matter where I placed them, no matter what way I tried to connect them—Broadcast mode always sounded awful, laggy, and would occasionally cut out. Even when I thought it would be dialed in, it would randomly start acting up again. They say the range is 30 feet, but that claim is dubious and even if that is accurate, that’s not nearly a big enough distance for wireless sound through an average house. Then what’s the point of Broadcast mode? They should have done Wi-Fi like Sonos.I returned both the One’s and I wouldn’t waste the money on them if the intended use was wireless sound throughout your home. The sound quality on the three is also superior than the one.
3.0 out of 5 stars Sound is good, but NOT great for the price
Was expecting to be blown away from this fairly expensive speaker but it's just so-so and is similar sound quality imo compared to JBL Charge 4 & 5. Great retro look but overall dollar for dollar just meh. Also, it's not wireless, which sucks. Probably wouldn't buy it again unless it was around $100-ish.
