5.0 out of 5 stars Very good
I have well water and use the PUR water pitcher. These are perfect and make’s it taste like I’m drinking spring water. Very refreshing. It filters very fast, definitely great value for the money and very easy to install. It lasts me about 3 months.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best filters!
Happy these are back in stock! They take all the impurities out so I end up with clean, flavorful water. The imitators don't work. They are cheaper but definitely not worth the money.
5.0 out of 5 stars If filter doesn't let the water flow thru, shake it until you hear the crystals shaking inside.
If the filter doesn't let the water flow thru (after you soak them in water as directed), shake them until you hear the crystals shaking inside the filter. Then rinse them under cold water from the faucet. I have used these for years & while they are not as good as a water purifier, they are better than drinking water straight from the tap.
4.0 out of 5 stars Clean tasting water and easy to change
We used to have a built-in water dispenser but on the latest refrigerator we purchased opted for only an ice maker as the dispenser was hard to keep clean and susceptible to mildew in the dispenser. We use the 30 Cup PUR dispenser and like the filtering the PUR provides. We will likely stick with this system unless we invest in a reverse osmosis system. The only thing I don't like is that occasionally a filter comes so tightly packed that water will not filter at all. If you tap around the filter a bit you can get it to work but than you might get charcoal particulates in the upper water reservoir and I am not sure if or how much that affects the filtering. Still overall a solid choice for filtered drinking water.
5.0 out of 5 stars Happy not using bottle water
These water filters works great at taking out chemicals that we are trying to stay away from. We drink a lot of water and using these has help save us a lot of money and it taste great. They are so easy to install just soak in water then it screws right in. I have never one to leak as the fit is just right. The filter allows for fast clear water in minutes. I would definitely recommend this filter to anyone who wants to get rid of plastic bottles
5.0 out of 5 stars Superiority
I've been using Pur water pitchers for well over a decade after trying every other water purifier on the market. I find that Pur water filters delivers the best taste. It's a quality product and a great value for the money. I live in an area with hard water and I've only had an issue with clogging two times, and it was at the end of the filter life.
5.0 out of 5 stars Decent, does what it says
Works like it says. Only thing is the first full filter through doesn't taste as good as the ones to follow. No smell. Easy to use and install. Sits very close to bottom of pitcher so flow isn't great, but still isn't bad.
4.0 out of 5 stars Works as desired, almost
Works fine. Easy to install and filters water as we like. We can taste the difference as well. Only quirk is, every few days (like once in 2 weeks) water stops flowing down and I have to pull it out, invert it for a few minutes or shake it and then install it back, then it start working again.
The smell and taste are t.......
After a week, the water began to smell rotten. Before that, I used regular filters of the same brand, and they are quite normal. I have a water quality tester, and it shows the same results as a regular filter. So why pay more? I could not drink this stinking water.
