5.0 out of 5 stars Hall Effect means no drift. Ever.
I've spent hundreds, if not a thousand or so, of dollars on controllers over the years in my search for the perfect one. I thought I found it with the original Xbox Elite controller, which I sold off when the white version was released. For a year, that controller was my weapon of choice until the left joystick started to drift. I had it shipped off, hoping it could be fixed, but it was even worse when it was returned. Since then, I have had the worst luck with Elite controllers that either had drift right out of the box or buttons that needed to be pressed dead-center in order to work.Eventually, I gave up on the Elite controller and put gamepads from various other companies to the test. I bought a PowerA controller and several Razers. Buying extended warranties became a habit -- I normally don't purchase them, but controllers have limited 90-day to one-year warranties that don't cover enough of a controller's lifespan.Part of the problem is that modern-day controllers use potentiometers to determine how far or fast you move your joystick. Over time, the friction from components sliding over and under each other wears out until the tension holding your joystick at the zero-point becomes imbalanced. That causes stick drift -- your joystick is pushed or pulled away from the center.Hall effect sensors, which use magnets to detect the position of joysticks and triggers, will never drift -- in theory. Because the parts don't rub against each other, Hall effect sensors last a lot longer than your average gamepad that will eventually succumb to drift. I've used the GameSir G7 SE Wired Controller for a few weeks now, and it's been a great controller at a lower price-point than Microsoft's own standard controller. The controller has a build quality that feels similar to the standard controller with a sturdy plastic shell that doesn't feel cheap. The triggers were a little too sensitive out of the box, but after tuning them with the app and getting used to how much further they seem to stick out -- they're a little more pronounced, like upside down claws -- I haven't had any issues with them. The buttons feel fine without any mushiness or dead spots, and the sticks actually seem to be more accurate even with small nudges because you're not fighting the friction of the potentiometer. There are some features to the controller, like the buttons in the back, an app that lets you change a few settings, and some on-the-fly key presses you can do to change configurations that lift the value of the controller at its current price. I wish there were physical trigger locks, though the app allows for hair-trigger presses. I would advise that you immediately download and use the app before you game in order to calibrate the controller and set it up to your liking.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent on PC - 55+ hrs in, no issues
I'm 55 hours in to Kingdom Hearts 1.5 Final Mix and the controller is working fantastic on PC (always plugged in).The controller has comfortable heft/weight (it feels like a high quality, well-built product), the texturing is grippy and pleasant, control sticks have no drift, triggers and buttons are all super responsive and nothing sticks. Charging/connecting cable is of high quality so far as I can see - durable, shielding looks good, and it's plenty long for my uses.I bought this controller to replace an old Logitech Playstation-style controller that had sticking shoulder buttons and tacky control sticks (it was also uncomfortable to use, possibly too small for my hands? - my pointer fingers always hurt after using it for extended session). I greatly prefer the position of the d-pad and the GameSir is just a much better built controller overall. I'm quite happy so far - this is a very short-term use review though, so take with a grain of salt. We'll see how it's functioning in a year.Reviews had me slightly worried - but I'm quite happy with mine thus far. Great controller for PC. I can't comment beyond that - haven't tried it yet on my Xbox Series X/don't intend to use it on console.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great controller
This controller is phenomenal especially for a wired controller. So I have gotten plenty of wired controllers for my series x or xbox one over their life cycles and this is the only one that hasn't just had the plug not work. Worked out of the box. Still in perfect function after years. No stick drift. Quality for cheaper than wireless and don't need a battery. Cord is long and braided so it is above any other hard plastic crap. This controller also has customizable options for buttons. So yeah this thing is great.
4.0 out of 5 stars Amazing controller with one flaw
Controller feels great, has the two buttons id need as well as a lock to stop accidental presses. If what they claim is true and this controller wont drift then that alone makes this controller worth it. Ive spent hundereds on controllers that constantly died to stick drift. Now and i think i found the one thatll actually last and is a pretty cheap price. The only thing wrong with the controller is how they built the sticks. They purposely built it so that the sticks would only work with their specific thumb sticks. I've tried all 4 of my thumb stick sets to no avail. It seems that the gamesir thumbsticks are the only ones that'll fit properly, so keep that in mind if you enjoy using game freak or any other type of thunbstick that isn't the universal size. That aside its probably a great controller and I'll give you an update if it last a year without any issues.
5.0 out of 5 stars Perfect with a PC for Gaming
Resolved all my issues stemming from a worn out XBox 360 Controller. This GameSir G7 Wired Controller game pad has me slaying all the tasks I previously had so much trouble with. The D-Pad is crisp and responsive and the Sticks are centered and drift free. The cord is high quality with Type 1 USB on the PC end, and Type C on the controller end. Any concern about the cable connection resilience disappeared when I unwrapped the unit and put it together. Very solid construction. Very satisfied with my purchase and it's a great value after about 20 hours of RPG game play. We'll see how I feel after 300 hours...
5.0 out of 5 stars Precision Control for Your Gaming Adventures
I've been using the GameSir G7 SE Wired Controller for a while now, and it's been a fantastic gaming experience. The hall effect triggers and joysticks offer improved accuracy and responsiveness, making my gameplay much more precise. The ergonomic design is comfortable for long gaming sessions, and the customizable buttons and profiles via the companion app are a huge plus. It's a great-wired controller that delivers high performance at an affordable price.
Amazing controller but the face buttons feel mushy.
This controller is very well built and I am a massive fan of the PC software, however, the mechanical face button do let this controller down.1. Build quality is very good! I love the shape and the feel of the sticks, the feel very durable and robust.2. Speaking of durability, due to the hall effect triggers and sticks, they will have zero stick drift forever and you'll never have to buy another controller unless something really bad and damaging happens.3. For features you have the app that lets you remap every button on the controller and add any software dead zones that you wish to have. Another amazing feature that I love you can disable the back buttons by flicking its respective switch. It's a very useful feature when switching from game to game.My final thoughts are I would 100% recommend this to a PC player or a desk XBOX player, so the wire reaches them very easily, for those who play on TVs and sit far back, I can't recommend it as the wire does get very frustrating but aside that, this is a fantastic product that also gives you one month of XBOX game pass!!
No meu caso eu deixo direto conectado no controle e no vídeo game.

Best Budget Controller
I come from an Xbox elite series 2 controller so I’m accustomed to paddles. That broke after 5 years. I didn’t want to spend a lot to buy another one so I ended up buying this budget option instead. I think this is way better than the stock Xbox series x controller because of the paddles and stickdrift-proof design. It’s wired only but most serious gamers will game wired only for the best responsiveness. My only complaint is I wish it came with 4 buttons on the back just like the elite controller. I got this for $37 usd only so that’s a great price for the uae. It’s usually $45 on Bolo USA.
