I had one of those plastic extendable racks and every time I put something in in, it collapsed and fell in to the sink. It was very hard to find a small rack that fit into my sink, but this one does, and because of the rubber on each end, it does not slip or collapse. I also love that it has a utensil holder.

I have new large stainless steel farmer’s sink. I tried the flat roll out type of dish drainer and it kept falling through. The second one was similar to this style but slightly smaller and was missing the pad on one of the legs. This one fit perfectly with all the parts intact.
