5.0 out of 5 stars Best Cushion Ever

This is much more comfortable than the one that I came home from the nursing rehab with. I still have a hole in my back that is slowing closing up but I could sit in any chairs in my home until I got this cushion. If you have a low back wound (end of spine) this is the cousin you need.I only problem I have is the blue things on top stick to my legs without pants on. I solved that by putting a pillow case on it when I am at home.

1.0 out of 5 stars Most uncomfortable pad.

I would be more comfortable sitting on Styrofoam. Hard cushion and the hole in the middle seems to have been made for a 6 your old. Not recommended. For $50 bucks I would expect more than $2 worth of foam rubber.

I would recommend this pillow for the elderly that have pressure ulcers on their sacrum or coccyx. I used this for my late mother-in-law who had Kennedy terminal ulcers while in hospice in our home.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great idea, too small

    L.V. · March 18, 2024

This would be a near perfect product if the dementions were bigger/wider. My bedridden mom is tiny, maybe 5', 85-90 lbs, but the cut outs are not wide enough to protect against bed sores. Unfortunately, there is nothing else available that I could find, so I already planned to modify this product by cutting it in half and widening the existing cut-out. I may need to order a second one for thickness so that her bum doesn't touch the mattress. She already uses an electric air movement bed pad.

    2.0 out of 5 stars It’s fragile

    c.c. · October 5, 2024

I bought it for a bedridden patient. It was difficult to place under his body, and it ripped really easily while trying to position it for the first use. I was able to place it in position and use it regardless of the damage. It was my fault the instructions indicate what not to do, but the pt can’t help and it’s hard for me alone to lift him long enough to accomodate it properly. I did not slip off position after the pt was raised to the sitting position. I still think it’s too fragile but I may be wrong.

The design is spot on. Very durable. Designed to do exactly what it is supposed to do. Very durable well made and absolutely comfortable. Love it. If you have a loved one who needs something like this get it. It is worth every penny.

2.0 out of 5 stars Did not hold up well at all. Foam yellowed like it is old. Maybe dry rot

    A.C. · October 2, 2024

This product worked very well, but i think the foam was old. It has ripped in several places.

This cushion ripped almost immediately. We needed it badly so we made do but I would not recommend the cushion.
